^Ciarda^
I woke to the sounds of something scuttling on the floor. I looked under my bed but couldn't see anything.
I sat up on my bunk bed before looking up at Nauma's. I laid back on my back and kicked up with my leg.
"Ugh, Cia, go to sleep." Her sister mumbled. I heard the covers rustle as she huddled farther underneath them.
"There's something in here though!" I whisper-shouted. my imagination running widely as I thought of what the sound could be.
"Well, then go back to sleep or kill it." she growled back at me. I scowled up at Nauma's bunk and got off mine.
'Screw this, I'll go get tell Toothless or Stormfly then.' I stomped off in search off them.
I stomped over to the dragon house and carefully cracked the door open. "Toothless? Stormfly?" I called quietly.
"Yes?" they hurred back in unison.
"There's something in my room, and I don't know where it is, or what it is." I hurred back.
Stormfly came forward and looked down at me. "Did you talk with your parents first?" I shook my head, and playing with my very messy braid.
"Let's just help her Stormfly," Toothless said quietly. "the sooner we do, the sooner we all get a good nights sleep."
I looked back at Stormfly, giving her the puppy eyes. She sighed. "Alright, let's go." she followed me carefully in the house.
"I'm surprised you can fit in here."
"Haha, very funny Cia." the dragon growled. "I can leave and let you take care of the problem all by yourself."
"No, wa-"
"Gotcha."
I showed her to my room. "It came from over there." I whispered. She nodded and carefully stalked over to the spot.
She flicked her tail over at me, gesturing me toward her. I quickly walked to her.
"Mouse." she whispered, nostrils flaring. "I want you to kill it." Stormfly said simply.
"Me?!" I screeched back her. "Are you insane!?"
"Ssh!" She hissed at me. "You know about your mark and powers right?" she asked.
"Yes." I whispered.
"Then use them. They won't know. They don't even know what you can do." Stormfly whispered.
I nodded and sighed. "Fine, I'll do it."
"Ok, now I need you to breath just a little fire."
"Fire!" I looked at her like she was insane.
"It won't hurt. Your part dragon remember, now, just think to yourself fire. But not yet! Let me find the mouse first."
Within minutes, a rodent ran by me.
"Now!" Stormfly yelled at me.
I blew fire and the poor mouse was nothing but ashes.
"Good work." Stormfly said, swiping the ashes under our rug.
"Thanks." I muttered. "I've always wanted the ashes of a mouse in my room." I hurred sarcastically.
She rolled her eyes at me. "Don't be such a wuss." she hurred back and then looked back at me.
"Be careful, using your powers. Your dragon side might be" She hesitated. "might be difficult to control." and with that, she left.
