~Nauma's POV~

"What do you mean you 'lost her'?" I snarled at the huntress.

"She was not where you said she would be, all I found was some old cinders and A LOT of snow." She answered back

I let out a scream of frustration and slammed the table I had in front of me over.

"Guards! Get her out of my sight!" I snarled.

Merida's face crinkled in rage, and she took a step forward. "You have no-"

Two guards stepped forward and grabbed her by her arms and hauled her out kicking and screaming.

"I have every right." I stated, and sat back down on my throne, back straight, head high, the way a queen would.

"Miss, we have found a man for you who says he can help you with your dragon problem."

"Send him in." I snapped and the guard nodded and ran off.

I stayed perfectly still, not even daring to breath. Was this what was going to be the answer?

The doors creaked open, and non other than Alvin stepped through.

I stood and glared down at him. "Why have you disturbed me? You-"

"I can catch you the dragon." He interrupted me, waving his hooked hand.

My eyes narrowed, and I felt for the axe at my side. "You, catch the dragon?"

"Yes, and I could do so much more." he promised with a grin.

I scowled back. "And what do you want? Money, land?"

"I only want to help." He said innocently. "But, now that you mention it, there is something I want."

"What? Name the price." I demanded.

"I want land, my dragon back, and I want to help rule this lot." He stated, getting closer to me.

I pushed him away, and glared. "You may have all you desire but that." I growled.

He let out a sigh, and stroked his thin, straggly beard.

"Fine, I'll do it, but,"

I leaned forward. "What?"

"Your the bait." and with that I felt his hand come up to my mouth and my world went black.
