After I got off the bus I walk along the sidewalk towards my house. Military school was really a bitch, but everyone there seemed even more of a pussy than I thought. Just like juvie, I made that place my bitch.
I fix my bag in my shoulder and look up to see I've arrived at my house for the summer. Opening the door I'm greeted by none other than a silent house. I drop my stuff deciding to make some breakfast.

Military school wasn't that bad I guess. It kept me busy, kept my mind busy.
"Hey look who's home!" I hear the door shut and Ian walks in the kitchen.
"What's up bro" I greet him giving him a hug.
"How was military school, you get all proper and shit?"
"It was alright I guess, and she learned but I'm still me, kinda" I reply
"No brainwashing?" Ian asks
"No, just a lot of running, a lot"
"We should go running tomorrow morning, let's see how much you can keep up with me" Ian says
"Oh I think I'd beat your ass" The both of us laugh.
Debbie comes in with Franny "hey Carl!" She says coming toward me
"Hey, hi little baby" I say
"Wanna hold her?" Debs asks
"Sure" she hands me the baby who is bigger than I remember. Franny wraps her small hand around my finger and I smile.
"Wow" I gasp
"I know right" Debbie says to me.
