Jax looked up from the metal table he rested his cuffed hands on, his eyes glossed over as the DA Tyne Patterson walked in with a file folder

"Jackson I have some good news" She said sitting across from Jax

"Nothing is good news lately" Jax said solemnly

"We have cleared you for the murder charges" She spoke smugly. Jax knowing deep down she wished she could of framed him for Tara's murder

"So what does that mean?" Jax asked

"You get to go home" Tyne spoke

"What about my boys?" Jax asked

"They will be at your house waiting, but Mr. Teller I suggest that you claim a guardian for those boys before it's too late" Tyne said

"Too late for what? They are all I have left" Jax said

"Before you end up back here or in a body bag, those boys will end up in the system forever" Tyne said motioning to the guard to remove the cuffs

Tyne opened the file folder and took out a small evidence bag and slid it across to Jax

"Per your request Mr Teller for telling us where we could find the person who did this" Tyne said

Jax closed his eyes as the tears started forming, Jax had made a deal when they arrested him at the scene that if he handed Tyne the killer then she needed to get a few items

Jax opened the bag and pulled out the diamond necklace he had given Tara on thier wedding anniversary last year, followed by her wedding ring and a small lock of her hair

"Jackson I am sorry" Tyne said

"I'm not keeping these, i wasn't able to attend the services so I'm burying this myself" Jax said shoving the items into his jumpsuit

"I think your friends are here waiting" Tyne said

"I need to see my boys, thank you for everything Patterson" Jax said

"Think about what I said Jackson please" Tyne said

"I did, already have someone in mind" Jax said heading out the door

Jax walked into his home he hadn't been there since the night he found Tara on the floor, his wife and his everything. He told Tyne Patterson that it was henry Lin when infact it was his mother, His five year old son Abel spilled the beans on that one, so before he got charged with murder he took care of his mother himself

Walking down the hall he saw Brooke putting Thomas's clothes away, Rat boys old lady had taken over the roll of babysitter while Gemma laid six feet under

"Thanks Brooke" Jax said giving her a small hug

"Your welcome Jax, the guys are waiting for you at the club" Brooke said

"I'm gonna have to pass, I've got something I need to take care of can you watch them for a few more days?" Jax asked grabbing a small bag and packing a few things into it

"Sure where are you going?" Brooke asked

"To make sure I have a safe place to bring my boys, Tara wanted them out of Charming and that's what I'm going to do" Jax said he thought about this long and hard, there was only one person in the world he would trust to raise his children

"Jax your leaving the club?" Brooke asked putting her hands over her mouth

"No, I'm going to Texas, an old friend lives there" Jax said
