Jax strolled through the clubhouse after having a meeting with the guys sitting at the bar having a beer Chibs came and sat next to him

"What's goin on Jackie boy?" Chibs asked

"Got alot on my mind brother" Jax said

"Jackie girl causing trouble?" Chibs asked

"No..Well kinda in order for child services not to be sticking thier nose in my shit Jackie and i have to get married" Jax said

"That's tough brother, how's she taking it?" Chibs asked

"She's nervous, we met with lowen the other day and it's eating away at her that we have to do this" Jax said

Jax and Jackie gave Lowen thier decision. They would get married next month.

"I can understand that brother Jackie never liked to be out of control" Chibs said

"She's scared that this is going to effect everything" Jax said

"Jackie's a strong girl brother, she'll get through this. She raised your daughter for six years" Chibs said

"I know. We feel different about eachother" Jax said

"You love her don't ya lad?" Chibs asked

"When Tara died I thought I could never open up to anyone again but Jackie changed that" Jax said

"Jackie has always brought out the good in you brother you just never saw it" Chibs said

"Your right I didn't" Jax said taking the last sip of his beer

"Get home to your girl Jax, we both know she's waiting" Chibs said slapping Jax on the back

Jax walked into the house and it smelt delicious, walking into the kitchen Jax found Jackie covered in flour

"Babe what's going on in here?" Jax asked

"Abel and Logan have a party tomorrow in class and I forgot to make something earlier" Jackie said

"I would of stopped and picked something up" Jax said giving Jackie a peck on the lips and brushing some flour off her face

"It's okay, I didn't want to bother you" Jackie said

"You can bother me about anything, Jackie we're in this together" Jax said touching her hip

"I know we are but I have to have my own way of doing things Jax, I was controlled for a long time it's my time now what little I have left" Jackie said her words hurt him slightly

"I'm sorry I asked you to be part of my life" Jax said turning around

"Don't you dare do this" Jackie said

"Do what Jackie? You act like it's such a terrible thing that we are getting married" Jax said turning back around

"No Jax don't you make me feel guilty about this you came to me asking me for help" Jackie said

"I did it because I thought I could trust you, so my kids could have a chance at a good life. I didn't factor in the thought of marrying you" Jax said

"After all we went through when we were kids and I'm the only person you could trust?" Jackie asked

"Yes, because I loved you so much before you left me" Jax said

"Whoa, what? Those words never came out of your mouth" Jackie said

"I was scared, scared to tell you because I knew you couldnt have the life you wanted if I asked you to stay so I let you go" Jax said

"I didn't want to go. You said go you need a better life but Jax my life was you" Jackie said

"You leaving screwed me up, I married Wendy and had Abel. It wasn't supposed to be her that i married. It wasn't Tara that I was supposed to marry" Jax said starting to tear up

"Who was it supposed to be Jax?" Jackie asked

"You. This whole time. It's always been you Jackie. I prayed so bad on my way down to Texas that you would be happily married and just take my kids but you weren't" Jax said

"I'm not understanding Jax. Why didn't you stop me from leaving? If you loved me then you should of told me to stay and I would of stayed" Jackie said

"Because I loved you then and i love you now, happy? I didn't want to say it because I didn't want you to run off" Jax said

"Jax how can you be sure?" Jackie asked completely thrown off that Jax would say that

"I've always loved you it was just the right timing for you to come back into my life. I'm not a good man Jackie and you see past that, you see the good in me" Jax said

Jackie walked towards Jax and rested her hand on his scruffy cheek

"You are a good man Jackson, look at what your providing for us, look at how well Abel and Thomas are raised. Don't be so down about yourself when you have three kids that adore you" Jackie said

"Jackie I don't want to force you into doing something you really don't want to do, if you don't want this just tell me and you can go back to Texas" Jax said turning his face away from her

Those words hit her like a ton of bricks. Jax would sacrifice a guardian for his boys so she would be happy

"I'm already here, there's no turning back now. I'm in this for the long haul Jax I just need to adjust to this all" Jackie said

" You said you didn't want to marry me" Jax said

"I know what i said but it's the only way. I can't pull Logan all over the country because of what I want. My live ended when I had her my main priority is Logan's happiness" Jackie said

Jax rested his forehead against hers

"I love you Jackie" Jax whispered

"I know you do, I'm just not there yet and i hope you can understand that" Jackie whispered

"I do" Jax said placing a kiss on the tip of her nose

"Let me help you bake so we can get to bed" Jax said

"Deal."

Jackie shot up from her pillow looking at the time she was supposed to of been up and out the door with the kids already running down the hall to Abel's room when she opened the door he wasn't there, running across the hall to Logan's door she wasn't there either. Neither was Tommy

Running down the stairs the house was completely empty, Jackie noticed a piece of paper sitting on the table

Hope you got some sleep babe, I got the kids

After Jackie finished her panic attack she chose to go upstairs to shower

After spending a significant amount of time in the shower Jackie dried herself off, hearing the front door close she hurried and dressed herself in a piece of sexy lingerie, knowing today was the day Tommy went to daycare so it was just her and Jax home for a few hours before he headed into work.

Jackie knew she had to make this work for not just Jax but herself. She really needed to stop beating around the bush with the whole situation and just dive in head first. But first she needed to love her man

Walking down the stairs in a red teddy and a pair of black heels she heard some movement come from the kitchen, quietly coming around the corner about to pose up against the door frame Jackie froze

"This is what you ran back to after everything I did for you?" Jason said grasping Jackie's throat with his large hand
