"Well..." Jasmine trailed off, mentally debating what to say.
"No flipping way." Scott entered the conversation as he walked into the room via their bedroom door. Jasmine pulled a long face.
"Scott."
"You aren't going roof running. Not again. You've done it once, had your fun. But now you are done with those shenanigans." He glanced between the young wolves. "No offence."
"None taken." Aydith smiled flintily at Scott who completely ignored her. Scott looked at Jasmine with stern eyes.
"You aren't going with them."
"I'm sorry Derek. I didn't realise you were the mean twin Scott."
"Derek's at the meeting, taking father's place for now. And if he comes back and finds that you've gone off again, I'll be in deeper shit than what I already am in."
Jasmine glanced at the others to see Nymph's pleading face, the guys with curious eyes and Aydith and Leah smirking. Jasmine looked back at her brother. "Fine." She sighed. Scott nodded and waited for her to start walking to her room. "You don't trust me?" She arched an eyebrow.
"Not one bit." Scott shook his head.
"That's probably a good thing." Jasmine smiled. Then with out a second thought, she was off using her werewolf speed, dashing through the halls of the palace, and to the front doors. The other wolves behind her and Scott yelling her name. Scott ran after them, but he lost them all instantly, and his way too. He now stood in a hallway on his own, not knowing where to go. He tuned his hearing and waited to hear them. Laughter was enough for him to start running after them again.

In the meeting...
Derek walked into the large room to see all but four chairs filled up. Beowulf waved a hand at one of them. "Jedson. Take a seat." Derek nodded then walked over and sat in the designated chair for his Pack. All eyes were on the new face with curiosity.
"Where's Jayden?" Kato Mayhem asked. "I wasn't aware there had been an upgrade in alphas."
"Derek, Jayden's son, will be joining us for the time being." Beowulf said, not impressed either. Derek wore a smug smile, enjoying every second of Beowulf's irritation. "Derek, this is Kato Mayhem of the Dawn pack."
Derek nodded at Kieran who only grumbled in response, and Beowulf then went around the table, "Alpha Shaley Woods of White Crescent, Vidar Morison of the Rogues, Kalev Typhoon of the Dusk, Tristane Lang of Silver Crescent, Caecilia Redd of the Blood Crescent, Bruno Davies of the Eclipse and Michael Dorset of the Warrior Wolves pack."
"What about the other three?" Derek nodded at the three empty chairs.
"The alphas of the Blood Hounds, Twilight Pack and the Pure pack will not be joining us any longer. They have performed acts of war and will no longer be seated at this table. Now, on to more pressing matters, where has the action been?"
"Jemina's scouts we caught haven't uttered a single word." Vidar said with disappointment.
"You guys had scouts too?" Derek asked with perplexity, recalling the 'rogues' he, his brother and some others had caught with Jasmine's unwanted help a couple days ago. When Derek had gone back to see them in their dungeons, he realised that they weren't rogues, only scouts of the Pure Pack.
"Yes." Shaley Woods nodded. "Have the ones you caught said anything?"
Derek shook his head. "No."
"We need to know what Jemina's planning." Beowulf sighed agitatedly.
"I know it's a bit risky," Derek spoke up, all looked at him once again. "But what if we send our own scouts to snoop it out?"
