Chapter 18 ~ Come Out

Marks P.O.V

It had been a whole day and I hadn't seen Jack come out of his room once. I was starting to get worried. I sat against the door with my head leaning back

"Jack.." he didn't answer. I sighed

"Look you don't have to answer me but please listen..." I heard some shuffling sounds and I felt him lean against the other side of the door.

"I don't know why you have locked yourself in but.. whatever it is I promise I can help you through it... if it has anything to do with-" he cut me off

"Don't say his name.." His voice sounded so quiet and weak. It hurt me to hear him like that

"Ok.. I promise you that I won't let anything happen... I won't let him hurt you..." I didn't have to wait long for him to answer me

"I don't care if he hurts me Mark! I care if he hurts you!" He sounded like he was starting to cry

"If he hurts you then I won't be able to live with myself.." his voice was cracking and I could hear him breathing fast and sharp

"Jack... I'm sorry.. please open the door... I need to see your face..." I heard the door unlock and I stood up quickly. He opened the door looking down as tears fell down his cheeks. I pulled him to me hugging him tightly. He hugged back and cried into my chest

"I love you Mark" he looked up at me. I gently kissed his cheek

"I love you to Jack" I smiled down at him. He smiled back. I was so happy to see his beautiful smile again. After another long hug he chuckled and looked at me again

"So when are we going to dinner?" He said smiling. I had almost forgot about that

"We can go tonight" I smiled at him. He nodded in response
