Bon woke the following day exhausted mentally and physically. He had been up most of the night worrying about Rin. He got up, showered, and dressed for school. The male decided he would stop by the hospital on his way to school. Even though he knew Yukio wouldn't be in class, he wanted to stop in and see Rin. He missed the smaller boy's laugh and stupid jokes throughout the tireless day. All he could do was pray for Rin to wake soon because he missed his friend tremendous.

Soon walking through the sliding doors of True Cross Hospital, he checked in and rode the elevator up to the floor Rin was on. The hallways were so plain and boring, with the occasional painting of fruit or doctor things . Once he arrived to the room, he couldn't help but notice Yukio wake. The brother looked more exhausted then he did that very morning. "Yukio? I thought I told you to get some rest? You look terrible." Bon had to be honest with him.

Yukio couldn't help but yawn mid laugh. "Good morning to you as well, Suguro. I can assure you that I have tried to sleep. However, with all the noise and Kuro's constant worrying, it kept me up." He fixed his glasses and sighed. "What are you ding here so early? Don't you have class?" He asked as the two looked at Rin. He seemed to be much paler than yesterday.

Bon felt more concerned than he was before he got there. "He looks awful... Should we get a doctor or something?" He just wanted his friend back. It was so hard to see him like that.

The younger Okumura twin shook his head and hugged himself. "No. There's not much we can do. We have to wait till he wakes up. He's only going to get paler as the hours go by unfortunately." He frowned.

"Dammit." Bon cursed and sighed loudly. He hated this, hating seeing someone he cared about so dearly suffer. While fixing the smaller boy's hair, he thought to himself - Come on, Rin. You have to wake up. We need you. I need you. He gently petted the boy's soft hair. "Hey, why don't you go get something to eat and take a walk. I can stay here with Rin."

Yukio was hesitant, but he trusted Bon. "Okay, yeah. Coffee sounds really good right now, I could use it. Those chairs are not that comfortable for long periods of time. Please call me if he wakes up?" It wasn't much of question but Bon nodded his head.

"Absolutely." He told him and sat down where Yukio as soon as he had left the room. Taking Rin's pale, cold hand, he couldn't help but feel so worthless. He wished he could do more for him. It was silent in the room, besides the monitors and Kuro. The demon cat had jumped up on his lap and laid down. Even the cat was worried about him. Bon gently scratched behind Kuro's hear. "I can now see why Okumura likes you so much, you are pretty cute." He said softly with a sad smile. "I know, I want him to wake up. You miss him, Yukio misses him... I-I even miss him." He at the ground.

Suddenly a small, soft voice spoke out of no where. "Wow Bon. Never thought I's hear you say that." He coughed softly. Kuro was quick to jump from Bon's lap, onto Rin's. "Ow, ow Kuro. Get off me." He said with a softly, his voice not quite there yet.

Bon was quick to stand and ran towards the door, shouting out. "Yukio! Doctor! He's awake!" He spotted Yukio and the doctor drop what they were doing to come check on Rin. "He's finally awake."

The younger twin attacked his brother with a hug, tears streaming down his cheeks. "I'm so sorry! I'm so sorry I hurt you."

"Ow! Yuki, you're crushing me!" Rin tried to hug his brother, but it hurt to move to much. "I don't blame you, it's okay. You had to do what you had to do, to save me and the people."

The doctor took his clipboard and Rin's file. "How are feeling, Rin?" He asked, clicking a pen.

"Well my side hurts and it's hard to move. I feel fine, beside all of that." Rin shrugged his shoulders slightly before hissing in pain.

"Yes, you'll be feeling that way for a while. With enough rest, you should be able to leave tomorrow. Just take it easy." The doctor said and left the room after Rin responded with a simple head nod.

"H-how long have I been out? What did I miss?" The smaller boy asked his brother and Bon. It was so nice to them when he woke up.

"Just a few days, but you haven't missed much. Can't have class without Yukio. He's been here the entire time with you and Kuro." Bon said with a small smile. Kuro jumped onto the bed again and laid on Rin's legs.

Yukio smiled and nodded his head. "Yes, but Suguro ran here when I called him that you were hurt." He didn't want his brother to worry about him.

"You did? You were that worried about me?" Rin asked with a small blush, rubbing his neck. "That's really sweet, Bon. I didn't think you would ever do that."

Bon blushed slightly and glared at Yukio, taking a deep breath. "I didn't run all the way, I took a cab. But yes! You scared me, dumbass! I told you be safe and I get phone call that you're in the hospital, of course I'm doing to be worried." The boy's loud voice made Kuro jump. He sat at the edge of Rin's bed, smiling softly at him.

"I'm so sorry Bon... I tried." Rin looked up at with the biggest eyes, looking so apologetic like that. He couldn't believe Bon would drop his studies for him.

Yukio smiled and cleared his throat. "I'll leave you two alone. Please don't kill each other, okay?" He asked, even though he knew they wouldn't. When the other two nodded his head, he left them to get food for Rin.

Rin rubbed his neck and gave Bon his usual goofy smile. "Hey, I know you said to be safe but Yukio saved him. That demon held him captive, I would have been in hell if he didn't do anything. I really appreciate you caring about me and being here... It won't happen again. Even though you are just as bad as my brother." He looked up at him with bright, yet tired eyes.

Bon missed the boy's goofy smile so much. He looked at Rin and shook his head. "I'm offended, Okumura. Comparing me to your better, smarter brother." He gently took his hand after joking with him. "Rin... there's something I've been meaning to tell you for a long time. I was going to before you left, but I just couldn't." The boy tucked a piece of Rin's long blue hair behind his ear, smiling softly.

"R-really? M-me too..." Rin had blushed and looked up at him, rubbing his neck with his free hand. He gently squeezed his hand to reassure to him. "You go first though. Since you said something."

Bon nodded, rubbing his neck and took a deep breath to prepare himself. "You're so annoying and I hate your guts. Do you have any idea how many times I had to fix your stupid hair?" He said instead of what he rehearsed.

Rin laughed and shook his head. "Really? Um, thank you I guess and ouch. I just woke up, don't be so mean to me!" He teased him. "Give me a break, I hate you too, you bastard." He laughed and ruffled Bon's fluffy hair .

Bon smiled at him and shook his head. "I hate that I missed you so much..." He whispered and suddenly he got pulled by the collar of his shirt. His lips connected with the smaller boy's. He wasn't expecting it at all but he kissed him back.

"I'm not dead, dumbass." Rin said for a minute when he pulled away, pulling him back towards him. He wrapped his arms around Bon's neck while he held his hips, kissing each other. It was the best thing and Rin loved it.

Suddenly there was a cling by the door and they pulled apart to see Yukio, surprised and eyes widened. "Oh... um sorry... I'll just go." He mumbled.
