Chapter 15

"You were born because you are going to be important to someone."

-----Preston's POV------

Once we all got to the tree, we all sit on the couch waiting for someone to give out their presents first.

"I guess I will go." I say breaking the silence. I hand everyone their wrapped gifts and wait for them to open it.

"You can open them now." I say.

Vikk opens his first and he got a nerf gun.

"What's this for?" He asks.

"You will find out soon." I say. Lachlan opens his next to find another nerf gun.

"Really?" He asks.

"Don't like it?" I ask.

"I like it, Jerome open yours next." He says. Jerome rips his open to find another nerf gun.

"Thanks Preston." Jerome says. Tymorilyn opens hers next and gets a nerf gun.

"Did you get everyone a nerf gun?" She asks. I remained silent. Dylan opens his and ANOTHER nerf gun was there.

"I think I know what you're planning." Dylan says.

"Stay quiet then, Rob yours next." I say. When Rob opened his he found a big nerf machine gun.

"I think it's pretty clear who your favorite person is." Tymorilyn says.

"I also know who to team with when we are done." I say.

"I will give everyone their present now." Jerome says. He hands everyone their presents and waits for them to open them. Tymorilyn opens her present first and gets a pocket knife.

"Thanks, Jerome." She says. Dylan opens his next and gets a pure white jacket.

"Well now I can camouflage outside." He says.

"Exactly why I got it for you." Jerome says. I open mine next and was surprised to see that he got me a $20 steam gift card.

"I expect you to share that with me." Jerome says.

"Yeah, and share it with me too." Dylan says. Lachlan opens his present and gets a pokemon card pack.

"Wow, thanks." He says. Vikk opens his next and gets a coffee mug.

"Thanks Jerome." Rob was the last person to open his again and he gets a fake flower crown. Rob started to grin then went to hug Jerome. I get mad when I see him hug Jerome, I don't know why though.

"Ok guys, let's finish with the gifts." I say annoyed.

"Ok, I will hand out my gifts next." Dylan says. He hands everyone their gifts and we all open them at the same time. Tym holds up a gray beanie, Jerome holds up a jacket and puts it on and it looks like a suit, Rob holds up and empty box.

"You didn't get me anything?" He asks.

"Oh, sorry. Here's $20." Dylan gives him the money. Lachlan throws a pikachu plush up in the air. Vikk gets a gold star.

"What did you get Preston?" Lachlan asks.

"Umm, this flame necklace." I say.

"Do you like it?" Dylan asks.

"Sure."

"Dylan can you come here for a sec." Tym says.

-----Dylan's POV-----

I followed Tym to the hallway.

"I think Preston is mad about something." She tell me.

"Yeah, do you have any idea what it is?" I ask.

"Maybe he got jealous when Rob hugged Jerome."

"Maybe...."

"It seemed like he got mad when they hugged that's why he told them to split up."

"Yeah." We walk back into the room where Lachlan was handing out his gifts to everyone.

"Ok, open them." Everyone gets a pokemon plush. Vikk got a mew plush, Tym got a espeon push, I got an umbreon plush, Preston got a charmander plush, Rob got a squirtle plush, and Jerome got a gengar plush. Vikk hands out his presents and everyone got $20 steam cards.

"Where are your presents Tym?" Lachlan asks.

"Oh, yeah. Let me go get them." She says.

"Dylan, Jerome, come help me get them."

"Ok." Jerome and I follow her to her room where she explains her plans.

"Ok, so my plan is to lock everyone into their own closet together."

"How will you do that."

"Just say what I say but at different closets."

"Ok." I say. I run to a closet and wait for Tym to say the thing.

"Preston, Rob, your present is over here." She says.

"Vikk." Jerome says.

"Lachlan, your presents are in here." They run to the closet we were at and we dis what Tym did and pushed them in.

"Here put these on it too." She hands us a lock.

"What's in there?" Jerome asks.

"I put notes in all of them." She says then makes an evil face.

"That doesn't sound good." I say.

"Ok, while they're doing that let's get our nerf guns ready."

"K." We all go back to the main room and grab them, then we let Lachlan and Vikk out and got the first few shots on them.

"Oii." Lachlan says. This means we are starting the fight.

-----Rob's POV-----

When she closed the doors I pulled out my phone and looked around for the presents. All I found were two notes that each had one of our names on it. I handed Preston the one with his name then read mine.

Preston is upset right now, if you couldn't tell. Help to try and cheer him up, or listen to him he needs you.

-Your Sis, Tym

I looked over at Preston who was still reading his. Now that I think about it she was right, he did seem a bit off. When Preston was done he looked up at me and he looked like he was about to cry.

"What's wrong?" I ask him and move closer to him, he flinched when I put my hand on his shoulder. He ignored my question and turned the other way.

"Preston, I want to help you." He doesn't answer me again.

"Please talk to me...." I felt like I was going to cry, my favorite person in the whole world won't talk to me. I go farther in the closet and cry silently. After a bit I hear Preston also start crying. He comes back to where I was crying and lays his head on my shoulder.

"I'm... sorry." He says in between sobs.

"It's ok... I just want to... know what's... wrong." I say.

"Well...." He starts, I wipe off his tears on his cheeks.
