"I like it."

"I think it's too short."

"You know what's too short?"

"What?"

"Fun."

Kobra spits the water He was drinking, all over the counter. Umbrella laughs at him as Party spins around in the stool next to him.

"What the hell happened, Kid?" Ghoul asks, coming into the room.

Kobra just shakes his head as he wipes his mouth. Umbrella giggles as she wipes up the water.

"Nothing. Nothing. How's the car coming?"

Ghoul blows out an exasperated breath.

"It's getting there. We have all the pieces, it's just a matter of getting them in right."

"Mhm."

Party pulls a piece of his hair over his face. It barely reaches the end of his nose.

"So, you finally got a haircut." Ghoul smirks, messing up Party's bright hair.

"It was demanded." he grunts, swatting the shorter killjoy's hands away.

"I like it." Umbrella states, leaning on the counter.

"What about you, Umbrella?" Party asks, turning to face her, "Are you gonna do anything to your hair? I mean, it's still bleached white."

She shrugs, "I kind of like the white. Why? What color should I dye it."

"Blue."

"Red."

"Green."

"Green? Really, Ghoul? Green isn't a creative color."

"What's your favorite idea?" he shoots back.

"MCR."

"What?"

"Never mind. Fourth wall."

¬¬¬¬

Kobra pulls Umbrella into his room. The others are outside, messing around.

"Korse wants to know how long this is gonna take." he whispers lowly, almost pressing his lips to her ear.

"It's gonna take time." she whispers back, "I'm going to try and take out as many as possible."

"Korse says to hurry."

"Alright."

Umbrella moves herself away from Kobra and looks him in the eyes.

"It's to save them, okay? To make sure everybody is safe."

"I know. But he's still my brother."

¬¬¬¬

Fun sits in his room, staring at the wall, he knows Kobra and Umbrella are on the other side of.

The walls aren't exactly sound-proofed.

He heard them.

He heard Umbrella talking to Cherri. Them running.

Then they disappeared. And it got as quiet as death.

There's a crash from Kobra's room, like a bag of rocks being thrown against the wall, then a whimper.

¬¬¬¬

Kobra holds his hands out to Umbrella as her eyes flash red.

"I can't see." she whimpers, "I can't see anything around me."

"Okay. Calm down."

She goes to stand up, and takes a step forward, her arms reaching outward.

"The energy is leaking through my eyes." She mutters, "And I can't see."

"Here."

He places his sunglasses over her eyes and it reduces the red glow.

"I still can't see."

"I'll contact Korse. See if he can tell is what's happening."

"Okay."

¬¬¬¬

Party lays in his lonely bed. His stomach pulls, making him wince, and close his eyes.

He feels his body start to drift off, but fights it.

Exhaustion plus hunger isn't good.

Especially not for the leader of the Killjoys.

But that's why. There's so much stress. So many consequences. So many casualties.

Dr. D.

He's gone. And they still don't know who did it.

His money is on Cherri.

He ran out right after Dr. D was shot.

Maybe Cherri was the B.L.I. spy. Not Dr. D.

There's one out there. He knows it.

It was just much closer then he imagined.

Huge update lull. Sorry, Crash Queens. I'm working on it!!
