"you heading out" Tez asked looking over at me and I nodded. I came to chill at his house to calm down while Nino explained everything that had happened. 

"yeah Corrie coming over later and stuff" I said making sure I had my keys

"ohhh corrie coming over" he said teasing me

"yeah" i said

"and what are you and miss corrie doing" he asked

"nothing talking about chance" I said

"you naming him chance" Nino asked with a raised eyebrow. I forgot that I never told them we were naming him chance

"yeah chance charles drew powers" i said

"first that name is long and second i wouldnt do that its like your trying to make him fill somebody else's shoes "Nino said as he pulled out a dvd to start rolling up on.

"i thought it would be nice" i said

"man this baby making you soft nice you was never nice" Tez said

"yeah you was ruthless but its cool you changing for lil man"Nino said

"nah lil man gonna be just as ruthless" Tez said

"what we talking about" paul said walking in

"when you were a kid didnt you wish your father was as ruthless as we are" Tez asked

"yeah i wish i had someone who could tell me war stories and shit when i was a kid" he said smiling

"but at a certain point you realized you were grateful to have a father?" Nino said and i looked at him. Nino's dad left  when he was a kid and when did comeback he only tried to change him and then ended up getting shot.

my phone started ringing and it was corrie

"yeah" i said into the phone and then i heard her sniffling

"you okay" i asked

"im at the hospital again and i was bleeding and i dont know what happened" she said and I could hear her breathing picking up

"did the doctor come in" i asked my eyes watering

"no he took me in a room and never came back" she cried

"im coming corrie calm down" i said

"i cant what about chance he wasnt kicking for a while i thought he was chilling"she said and i got in the car speeding there. 

"Corrie I need you to breath us freaking out isn't going to do anything for him" I said

"I did literally everything the same as before."She said

"I know C I know"I said pulling into the parking lot.

"what room are you in" i asked her

"101" she said and i walked through the waiting room passing Mr.Acorn and lil sis and who ever else was there and into the waiting room. When I walked in she was sitting on the table tears streaming down her face and I could see she was trying hard to breath. I walked closer to her before pulling her in my arms.

"its okay" i said rubbing her back as she held me tight crying. I continued rubbing her back and saying those words before mentally praying to God my son would be okay. The door opened and the doctor came in with an emotionless face.

"well i have good news and bad news" he said

"bad news" she said looking up her voice completely broken. I was about to let her go but she tightened her grip and I nodded. I continued rubbing her back and rocking her a little.
