Kai and Cinder were so ecstatic that they were going to get married in less than three months time. The wedding plans were finally starting to come together, Cinder's dress has been designed and sent to her, Kai's wedding sash is back from the royal seamstriss and the wedding rings have been created by the most respected jewler in New Beijing who then sent it to Kai's best man, Carswell Thorne. At first Kai was skeptical about having Thorne as his best man or that he would make his and Cinder's special day but as it turns out when Kai asked Thorne said that he would be honored to be Kai's best man. For as long as he could remember Kai always thought that he would marry some noblewoman from the Commonwealth or someone his chose from the annual peace ball but never in a million years would he think that he would be marrying a cyborg who just so happened to be the the former queen of Luna. Although Luna wasn't a monarchy anymore Cinder was still considered a very important representive of Luna and was supposed to visit Earth regularly on account of the terms of the Treaty of Bremen and whenever Cinder came to visit she always plans to get together with the former crew of the Rampion. Lately the crew hasn't been up to a whole much of anything that Kai knew of other than plan for the royal wedding which of course all of them were invited. Scarlet and Wolf had been married for almost a year and Scarlet was six months pregnant with their first child. Cress and Thorne were almost always busy delivering the letumosis antidote to places where there there were breakouts of the disease. Winter and Jacin were some of the Lunar ambassadors that spent most of their time on Earth meeting diplomats which of course Winter loved and here was Kai trying to rule a country and plan a wedding at the same time. Although everything was starting to fall into place Kai was still extremely stressed  from attempting to keep the reporters from destroying the palace with all their questions and cameras and such. He was so tired of all the questions about how many people were going to be in attendance, or what Cinder was going to wearing or what he was going to doing with his hair to be honest Kai didn't know what he was going do with his hair or everything reporters had asked him in the last six weeks since everything was starting to get down to the wire. Kai just hoped that after the wedding the cameras would disappear but he knew better than to think like because after the wedding the cameras would be on them for the rest of their lives especially when Kai and Cinder started having kids. But Kai was going to finally to spend the rest of his life with the woman he loved most in the world
