Flaming Spark's POV:

I stared at it long and hard.

"This is so stupid," I muttered to myself, walking away from the suit sprawled out on my bed. I stood in front of my door, too close to the white paint for my eyes to adjust but anything was better than looking at what was on my bed. I groaned and turned back to it. Why did Molly have to say what she did to me?

"Probably doesn't even fit anymore," I grumbled, stripping out of my clothes and pulling on the spandex. They said it would stretch out with me as I grew up, got taller, actual muscles, etc., you know the whole 'growth process.' I pulled it on, wincing to myself at how ridiculous I must have looked.

I was surprised not to hear any of the fabric tearing. The back of the suit automatically sealing along my spine. It still fit. Whether that meant I hadn't grown much or the tailors were right, was to be debated. Regardless, it fit.

The only thing I was missing was my mask which is in the possession of a certain someone, and who knows where he hid it.

I sighed softly and grabbed my spare. Just a plain red felt mask I was given as a joke years ago. I turned off my lights and stuffed my bed with some clothes before opening my window and slipping out onto the roof, closing it softly behind me. I just hope my parents don't check up on me while I'm gone.

Eventually, and I mean eventually because I've never had a strong sense of direction, I found his window. I crouched on the roof and tapped on the glass.

The curtains were pushed back quickly to reveal to me the boy otherwise known as Anti Gravity. He opened the window and put his finger to his lips. "Quiet."

I slipped in without even making a sound. "Why did you call me over here?"

He grabbed something from his bed and handed it to me. My mask. "This is yours. My brother was keeping it as a souvenir from your battle."

I took it gratefully and turned my back to him as I switched masks quickly. Much better. I turned to face him, feeling more like Flaming Spark by the minute. "Headphones is your brother?"

Anti Gravity nodded his head, he sat on his desk chair and drummed his fingers on his desk. "Don't need to worry about him, he's got a twenty-four-hour power disabler."

"What'd he do?"

"Broke his probation," he said, sitting up and handing me a note. "City Sweeper is a new vigilante bent on taking me, Headphones and now Storm Rider out. I cannot figure out why he's out to get us. Well, Coal kind of made fun of him, but Storm and I never did anything to him. But we believe that City Sweeper is going to carry out his threat soon, and I think he's going to start with me. He's already taking my powers away."

I looked up at him quickly. "What do you mean taking your powers away?"

Anti Gravity sighed. "I mean what I say. City Sweeper is a power taker and has been taking my powers away slowly. Fortunately, Coal's developed some new powers, and one of them is being a recharger."

"Recharger?"

"He has a spark that recharges others when they touch him. Red agrees with me on this, but Coal doesn't know yet."

"So he's able to keep you powered?" I asked. Headphones is a recharger, combined with his shock absorbency powers and his ability to turn it into energy, he's essentially a bottomless pit of power. "How many rechargers are on file?"
