Chapter Fifteen

           

When Lily came back, Kyle had gone to bed and Scorpius was alone in the common room. She told him he was unsuccessful and that Cain was really aggressive verbally with her. That made anger spike in Scorpius, how dare he talk to a girl like that? Or anyone for that matter? It was rude and highly immature.

            He had left the common room just before curfew and got to his dorm. He was very upset that it didn't work because he needed Albus to be safe.

         
  "So we're doing your plan?" Lily questioned the next morning at the Ravenclaw table. It was Saturday so they had all the time to modify their plans.

            "Yes." Scorpius shoved a spoonful of oatmeal in his mouth. "Yours didn't work." They looked up at the Gryffindor table. Albus was there with Cain as Cain ate. They noticed that Albus' eyes were fixated on the table in front of him and not eating.  "He's not eating. Do you reckon he's hurt him?" He asked and Lily sighed.

            "Possibly." She answered. "He could have been incredibly angry at what happened with me last night and took it out on Albus. Or he could have let it go." She suggested and Scorpius shrugged.

            "I'm gonna fucking kill him." Scorpius growled.

            "Calm down Scorpius, it'll be over soon." She assured and he just took a sip of his pumpkin juice. "Hey Scorpius, how are we going to do your plan?" She inquired and he glanced at her.

            "How do you mean?" He asked.

            "Well how are you gonna get Albus alone, let alone long enough to cheat on Cain." She expressed and his eyes widened. He didn't think that far into it.

            "Um-"

            "And who would he cheat on Cain with?" She interrogated and he cursed.

            "I didn't think that much into it." He muttered and she sighed.

            "Well thankfully I did." She smirked. "Even though I'm a Ravenclaw, I believe I have a bit of Slytherin in me." She grinned. "I still have those earrings Rose leant me so what I'm going to do is bring them back to her today and steal something from Albus." She explained. "Then later, I'll ask him for it and maybe then we can lure him to your dorms."
             "Okay sounds like a great plan." He grinned.  "But um who will he cheat with?" He asked.

            "You."

            "Me?" Scorpius spluttered. "What do you mean me?"

            "Come on Scorpius, it's our only hope. All you have to do is kiss him." She told him and he frowned. "It's for Albus, Scorpius. Think about him." She told him.

            "I am." He told her. "But how will Cain know?"

            "He'd definitely tell him." Lily told him. "So are you in?" She questioned. He pondered about it. It's for Albus. He told himself. This way, he can be safe again.

            "I'm in." He nodded his head.

            So after breakfast, when Lily knew Albus was out with Cain she walked to the Gryffindor tower and said the password. She had known it from when Rose and she were still talking. She walked in and there were a few kids scattered about.

            "How'd you get in here?" Asked a second year causing Lily to grin.

            "I just did." She said with a shrug. "Is Rose Weasley in? I got her earrings with me." She told him and he shrugged. She rolled her eyes and started walking towards the girl's dormitory. She knocked on the door and another girl answered.
