February 14th

I hate this day! It always reminds me that I am cursed or something. The TV shows are all about love, couples and everything. People outside are wearing couple shirts. Ugh! When you guys break, one of you will end up wearing the two shirt so to not waste the money that you used to buy that crappy shirts.

"Yes, honey! I'll see you later. Love you. Mwah mwah chup chup." My aunt said as she drops the call.

Ugh! Even here. Oh my gosh!

"Are you going on a date?" I asked.

"Yes. Your uncle wants to celebrate Valentine's." She said.

"That's nice!" I said with my emotionless face.

"What about you?" She asked.

"My legs hurt. I can't walk. I'll stay here and sleep." I said.

"What's happening to you? Is this because of your stroke? You're always sick." She said.

"No. It's not. I'm just a sickness magnet." I said.

"Hope you'll get well." She said.

My mom called and asks us what are we going to do today?

"It's Tuesday. We have classes." I lied. I don't have a class because I'm on vacation but my siblings have.

"I have a date." My mom said.

"Oh. Yeah? Cool." I said.

"You don't sound happy." Mom said. Uh oh! I'm stupid.

"No mom. Haha. I'm happy for you. You deserve to be happy too. Don't worry about us. We can manage. We can do it." I said.

"Okay. I love you guys and I miss you." She said.

"Love you mom." I said.

My siblings have classes so yeah I'll be alone at home with my younger brother but his father will pick him up later because they are going to celebrate too.

Okay! Guys! All of you are happy. Okay! Let me just sleep, will you? Let me be happy too.

This just a normal day so I'll just hibernate again because I'm a panda.

But the odds won't let me be a panda.

I hear knocks on the door.

"Guys! Someone's out there. Open it." I shouted.

Quiet. Just the continuous knocks on the door then I remember that all of them are out.

"Who is that?" I asked.

"YAN! DORINE HERE!" Said the voice outside. I quickly open the door. She's my friend, my former classmate in the university.

"Hey! What are you doing here?" I said.

"You're not replying on the messages on group chat so I decided to come here." She said.

"Ah sorry. I was sick." I said.

"Almost three weeks? What kind of sickness is that? Are you dying?" She said. Dang!

"I am just tired. I want to rest before working on my thesis next week." I said.

"Did you fight with your mom?" She asked.

"No." I said.

"Then it's a guy problem?" She said. Oh my gosh! Sherlock Holmes is that you?

"Come inside. What's that message all about? By the way, I don't have anything to offer you. If you can cook for yourself just cook. Feel at home." I said. I actually don't have to say that because they used to sleep here a lot before so it feels home for them.
