Lucy's pov
I was almost gone. But I'm still here, because of him.
"Why, Natsu?"
"You aren't going to leave me, I'm not going to let you!"
He doesn't understand. I knew he wouldn't.
The spell is still being cast, I can feel it. But I'm still here. It must be his magic. I don't know how, but it's keeping me from dissipating.
I can see the scratches and burns all over his skin. He's not supposed to be this close. It's hurting him.
This is exactly what I didn't want. Natsu to get hurt. And yet, here we are.
"Natsu, it's too late, END is already disappearing."
"No, Lucy! I don't care about that, I'm not going to let you go, you're going to stay with me!"
He holds me tighter and I feel everything come back into place. And then, the light disappears, and we fall to the ground in a heap.
"B-but how?"
