Marcus's POV
*on the way home, right after he left Kate's place*
"Friendly relationship... c'mon Marcus" I cursed myself while driving back home.
"And why did she have to say "I couldn't see you guys as anything more than celebrities" ? Why you guys Kate? we were talking about us, not me and Lucas.. It was just me.." I said in a loud voice, hitting my fist on the steering wheel.
It made me feel really angry. I couldn't understand why Lucas had to be in everything I did, even when he wasn't there.
I knew that we were twins and he was a part of me and I couldn't imagine my life without him, but, then again.... we were two different personalities ... We couldn't always be compared to each other.
I really liked Kate and I was really trying to see a future with her... I felt good around her and I only knew her for like, 2 or 3 days.
I didn't want to scare her or something by being overprotective, but I felt guilty after her accident and I was thinking about her all the time.
Specifically since the first time I met her. When we left the hospital all together and went to our house.
When she talked a bit about her family to us, I felt there was something bothering her. Then, again, I wanted to talk to her and make her feel safe. I felt like.... she needed protection. And that's how I felt every other time I saw her. I wanted to be around her even more everyday...
The problem was, Lucas was my twin... He was a part of me and I could understand that he was probably developing feelings for her.
Ugh, why did we always have to like the same girls? Anyways, he may was the outgoing twin and people thought I was the shy twin, but things weren't actually like this...
Okay, maybe Lucas was better when it came to making new friends and socializing, but I had the tendency to hide my feelings...
Sometimes even he wouldn't understand something that's bothering me, but I could. I was way more careful than him and he showed his feelings much easier.
So, that was the reason why I could say when he liked a girl....and he probably liked Kate...
It felt like this ride was going to last forever, when I finally reached home.
Lucas had called me because we had to film an new video for our YouTube channel, and I wasn't really in the mood..
I opened the door, walked inside and saw Jake in the kitchen, surprisingly not holding his vlog camera, and talking to a girl. I couldn't really tell who she was, but she looked familiar.
I couldn't hear what they were taking about and I didn't want to interrupt, so I went straight to find Lucas.
He was in our room, laying on bed and looking at something on his phone.
When he noticed me, he stood up and put his phone away.
"Oh, hey Marcus. you're finally here"
"Yeah, I was gone for a while" I said throwing the keys to the bedside table and going to the wardrobe to change.
"Umm, yeah..so, now we have work to do, Marcus. we have to film a new video." Lucas reminded, coming to me.
"Yeah, I know Lucas, just give me a minute to get ready...and go fix your hair" I looked at him, showing his hair and laughing a bit.
"But, it's fine, that's how I have it in every video" he said, looking at the bathroom mirror and moving a few strips of his hair.
I sighed "Yeah, that's why I always fix them while we're filming the video" I said getting my shirt off and putting on a Dobre merch hoodie.
