will kept eleven in hiding. he'd let her out now and then to go on walks with him and talk. he always gave her a disguise.

although her hair was long already, mike would be able to figure out who she was by looking at her features.

will would give her masks or make her dress up like a boy, just to go outside. she didn't understand why he did it. she thought maybe he didn't like the way she looked.

so she cooperated.

but just because she did what she was told, it didn't mean she got to see mike.

first a week went by. then a month. and still, every time she would ask to see mike, will would say he's busy.

eleven was getting fed up with will and his behavior. she was doing what she was asked, why didn't she get what she asked?

pretty soon though, she was fed up with the way will treated her. he acted like she was a dog.

an unwanted, ugly mutt.

he tried to be nice. he gave her everything she needed but not anything she wanted.

so she left.
