Walls Chapter Five (Winn Schott x Reader)

I walked out of the hospital and saw Winn waiting outside for me. I looked at him confused. "Thought you were needed at work today?" I spoke up once i got closer to him.

"I am, but so are you." He smiled "How're you feeling?" He asked and led me towards a black SUV.

"I'm feeling pretty good, still sore but what can you do about that eh," I shrugged "I'm just happy to be out of that hospital room." I chuckled

"You were in there for three days." Winn chuckled and opened the passenger side door for me.

"That's a long time for me!" I smiled and hopped into the vehicle. Once Winn got into the car he turned towards me.

"Did the doctor say anything about pain medication or what you can and can't do?" He asked and I pulled my seatbelt across my body and locked it in.

"He said and I quote 'Make sure to get your husband to remind you to take the pain medication we gave you.' and that's about it. I mean I shouldn't be fighting any criminals for a while but we all know I'm going to be doing it." I chuckled and he rolled his eyes and started the car after putting on his seatbelt. "That reminds me, I never asked while you visited me but why am I your wife?" I asked

"They weren't letting anyone into see you, only family." He shrugged "They wouldn't even let Kara in. So I figured I'd lie." He chuckled

"They wouldn't let Kara in or Supergirl?" I raised a brow

"Both!" He laughed.

"Wow. How rude." I smiled.

"So this is the DEO." I followed Winn into a large building. "How did I never know this was here? It's so close to my apartment." I looked around excitedly.

"This is the infamous Inferno. Welcome to the DEO." Alex walked over to me, she was being followed by a taller man.

"It's nice to see you again Agent Danvers." I shook her hand then turned to the man. "You must be director Henshaw." I held my hand out towards him.

"So you are the reason Killer Frost is here." He raised a brow.

"It's nice to meet you too." I pulled my hand back.

"She's been causing havoc around the city, and we need your help to stop her." He stated

"I'll need to get my suit." I stated

"I went and got it already." Kara walked over, or well Supergirl walked over with my suit in her hand.

"I gave her the spare key you gave me." Winn said sheepishly

"Thank you Supergirl." She handed me my suit. Kara led me away from the group and towards a room where I could change.

"Don't worry about Hank, he's just on the fence about you helping us." She said quietly

"On the fence about me?" I raised a brow in her direction

"We have your file. He knows how you used to be a criminal in Central City." She stated

"Oh." I paused "So he thinks I'm going to go back to my old ways?" I asked and she glanced down at the floor as we walked "You all do." I stated with a nod. "I know my word might not mean much, but I stopped all that when I moved here." I said as we reached the room. Without saying anything I stepped inside and shut the door.
