"He grabbed her hand and said I'm not like them I'll stay I won't let go " that's the last thing he said to her and it replayed in her mind again and again torturing her with the what ifs,the buts ,and the whys , . why he left .why he lied..but most of all why he promised he would stay when they both knew that was obviously a lie .but a promise all the same a promise she desperately wanted to believe with all her heart .but a promise she knew the unspoken answer too,so she walked down the corridor with her head down determined not to make eye contact and lost in thought .she felt as if she would never get over that promise the promise they never kept .but always told the promise that always ended with her being alone.
