Chapter 8: Friend or foe?

My eyes shoot open as I suddenly regain consciousness and I immediately look for my arm and hmy leg, the last thing I remember before the titan swallowed me was my arm and leg being severed by the titan that ambushed me and Mikasa. I look up and I see Mikasa kneeled down to my level staring into my eyes making sure I wasn't going to drop dead, I look to my left to see Eren and Armin, Eren was out cold for some reason until suddenly his eyes opened suddenly and he says "I'm gonna kill you all" with a very sadistic tone. I look around more to evaluate how fucked the we are, as it turns out the shit hit the fan machine was cranked up to 11 as there were about 50 maybe 60 soilders aiming muskets at you, the man leading them was Kitz Weilman, Commander of the garrison regiment. "I'LL ASK ONE MORE TIME! ARE YOU HUMAN OR TITAN?" I look up, confused I look at Mikasa but she looks away so I speak up "WE'RE HUMAN!" Kitz looks down and says "Then you must forgive me" as he moves his hand up the swiftly swipe down, I look around everything is in slow motion as I see the wall mounted cannons fire on us, I grab Mikasa, Eren and Armin and I huddle them around me as I bite my hand as a reflex.

The small area in front of the wall we were at suddenly turns green and a lightning bolt hits the ground specifically it hits me and causes excruciating pain I want to scream in pain but the scream came out more like a roar, a titan roar to be exact. I see muscle wrap around my left arm and it moves to block the shell from the cannon, and I get attached to a neck that was growing along with a head, ribs start to pierce the ground but then another explosion stopped the body from growing and the pain ended, I was attached by my left arm.

I disconnect my arm from the back of the body's neck and I fall to the ground through the smoke, I run into the ribs to find my friends all alive and well, "Y/N are you ok you pale and your nose is bleeding" Armin says as soon as he seen how horrible you looked "I don't feel to good" you say before you collapse

Flashback
It's been a year since we joined the trainee corps, we get a day off every month and we would build a fire between the male and female  cabins, also this night happend to be my 13th birthday so it was more of a party. People were telling stories about their lives before the trainee corps, "Hey Y/N everyone pitched in and we got something for you" Mina says to me with a huge smile on her face. Everyone looked at me the same way. "You didn't need to get me anything guys" I said but as you say that everyone says "of course we did" in unison and I was handed a guitar from Annie, I had the same huge smile as everyone else, My old guitar was desroyed in shinganshina. Marco looked at me "Well, play a song" I nod and procede to tune the guitar and I clear my throat

As I put the guitar down everyone claps and Annie kisses me, then Shadis came over "You play just like your father did Y/N, Everyone get that fire out, We are doing 3DMG training tomorrow." On our days off Shadis would not be as strict and he would talk to us to get to know us better, I walk into the cabin and I dive into my bed and sleep.

I wake up again while being helped up by Mikasa and I found out that me and Eren are going to be part of a plan to seal the hole in the trost district gate using our new titan shifting abilities.
