I get to the mortar and luckily every part is still intact. It is mounted with a 3 round drum, but with my luck I will only need one. My goal is to take out the 3 Wraiths and then get back to base. One is on a bridge full of overturned cars, the other two are on either side of the bridge. Most of the troops are around the Wraiths, therefore I will leave less than 50 alive. For the heroes to kill.
Here are some steps that will improve your life greatly if you ever fall into my situation:
-Align Y axis with plane of ground.
-Align X axis with distance of Wraiths.
-Prime it.
-Push fancy red button.
-Lose ability to hear properly for a few moments.
-Watch 3 Wraiths explode.
-Laugh as you witness seeing an Elite scared.
-Flip off 20 Grunts that start yelling at you.
I climb back down while being shot at by plasma pistols. Three Pelicans fly over the cliff and stall for a moment before landing. Two Marines run over to my position and start asking if I saw how the Wraiths malfunctioned and took each other out.
Only Spartans get credit in this world.
