The fight of a lifetime

I heard someone people coming down the hallway so I jumped into the shower to hide, completely forgetting to hide the knife and notepad once again. As I got into the shower I began to hear voices getting closer and closer to the bathroom.

"I told you to lock that drawer" I recognized the voice, Jake

"I'm sorry I forgot! It's not like someone is going to go through our bathroom drawers anyways" Kaleb yelled back

"You are such a fucking amateur, come on"! Jake yelled

The door busted open and I jumped. I then realized I left the knife and towel on the floor and my heart started beating faster then ever before.

"Someone saw it" Jake yelled

"Shit..." Kaleb whispered

"You fucking idiot" Jake yelled as he pushed Kaleb into the shower and pulling off the curtain, revealing him and I

My eyes widened as I saw Jake stand over us.

"Well now we know who was being a little nosey" Jake laughed maniacally

He grabbed my hair and Kaleb followed him into a a bedroom and locked the door. Kaleb pushed me up against the wall and held a dagger to my throat.

"This is the time to redeem your self" Jake whispered as he leaned against the wall with his arms folded over his chest

Suddenly a voice called for Jake. He groaned and ran downstairs back to the party. Now Kaleb and I were alone. I was scared beyond compare. Soon as the door closed behind Jake Kaleb slide his hand up my thigh.

"You know I don't have to do this baby" he whispered into my ear, sending shivers down my spine

"Get the hell off of me" I groaned

"Oh, I guess you left me with no choice" he laughed as he pushed the dagger harder on my throat

I took a breath as I could feel the dagger close to breaking skin. All of a sudden I remembered Aubree telling me at the party not too long ago to "don't act stupid". And she was right, I was acting stupid right now standing here letting the person I thought liked me kill me just like he did her.

I quickly pushed Kaleb off me and made a break for the door. As I pushed him off of me the dagger grazed my arm and slit my skin open but that didn't stop me. I opened the door and ran down the hall and took a sharp left for the bathroom looking for the bloody knife.

When I got into the bathroom I saw the knife and all was now locked up into up in the drawer. I turned back around back to run again to see Kaleb standing in the door way holding the dagger up. I back up against the wall trying to get away from him as I held the gash on my arm.

"Hard to get I see" he grinned

I quickly pull out my phone and dial 911

"All I have to do is press the call button, I won't tell anyone" I lied through my teeth

"That's not an option" Kaleb said angrily

I quickly pressed the call button as Kaleb charged for me and slapped the phone out my hand

"Get off me" I screamed

"You know to much" Kaleb yelled as he held the dagger to my stomach

I head butted him and ran to the room across the hall, hoping it would lead to a way out but boy was I wrong. Kaleb and I ended up on the balcony, where I was 2 steps away from falling 4 stories onto concrete.

"Looks like that gash is getting pretty bloody" he laughed as he waved the dagger in the air

"I'm not gonna let you kill me like Aubree" I said as I glared at him from the corner of my eye

"Honey, Aubree got what she deserved. If she never rejected Jake at the party and bullied me all through middle school she would still be here" he explained

"And what about Sierra, w- why is she in this" I stuttered

"Ohhh baby, the girlfriend always helps" he evilly grinned as if he knew her being his girlfriend would hurt me

"Congrats" I answered cockily

"What for"? He asked

I walked right up into Kaleb's face and said: because your so smart, ending Aubree's life. Well, it's ok Kaleb, because when you rot in hell with Sierra and your douche bag of a brother I'll still be here laughing. And Aubree will be too, even in the after life

"YOU WONT BE HERE FOR ANY LONGER" Kaleb screamed at the top of his lungs as he grabbed me

Just as he was about to push me off the balcony I saw a hand grab him by his collar. I looked behind him to see three cops there hand cuffing him remembering I did press the call button. I dropped to my knees in relief as I realized that I just won the fight of a lifetime.
