Conscience really did bother you,
It even bothered your sleep,
I was successful with that.
What I don't understand is why I still forgave you
Why I'm not holding a grudge against you
Why I'm not mad at you
If you're surprised that I still want to be your friend,
I'm surprised with myself too.
I guess I'm just this patient and kind to the people I consider a part of my life.
If others forgave me for my faults,
Why wouldn't I give you the forgiveness you thought I won't be able to give you?
Despite the lies you pulled in,
You're still the friend who helped me in many ways,
You were my confidante when I was weak,
You were my defender when I was scared,
You were my hero (or my spidey) when I was down,
You were my best friend who I could talk to when I couldn't sleep,
Nonetheless, you were an older brother to me when I needed one.
I'm glad you'll fix what you messed up with
And learned from the mistakes you did.
I'm hoping to see you one day,
And be my big brother friend again.
