Bye, I Guess... (Sequel and Third Book Included!)

Hayley's POV

(same day as end of last chapter)

We were going to the orthopedist in the hospital, which was way up on the sixth floor.

Annie and I arrived, and Annie got her casts first. She decided to get a pink cast for her hand, and a light blue one for her leg. She got rainbow glitter on both.

When Annie was finished, it was my turn. I decided to get rainbow for my ankle and blue and green stripes for my elbow. I also got gold glitter on both.

Annie and I relaxed in our room eating dinner and watching a Disney movie. When the movie was over and we were done eating, mommy talked to us and asked us what we did for the past (almost) year without her, when we were in foster care. We talked for a while, then we got a surprise visitor.

The girl who started it all.

She walked in slowly holding two HUGE boxes of Whitman's Samplers chocolates. I felt mad at the same time I was excited for chocolate. It hit me that I couldn't even eat the chocolate. Darn.

"Oh my gosh!" She said while looking at our casts and my neck brace and other stuff, "I am so sorry for pushing you into the street—"

"Wait, you got them run over by a car? You're so tiny!" Mommy interrupted.

Mom was right though. She's my height.

"Yeah. . . I'm really sorry. Jealousy got the best of me. After I pushed you and you got hit, I realized what I had done. I literally collapsed on the sidewalk and cried for a while," she said.

"Hey, I forgive you. There will always be haters out there to get me and Hay Hay, especially since we're YouTube stars. We were the luckiest of our kind, making it out without too many injures," Annie said. I'm honestly surprised.

"Do you forgive me?" The girl asked me.

"Yeah," I said.

She smiled. We talked for a bit, then she had to go.
