Hayden's POV
A ton of events have happened in the last two days.
The first one was calling the police about the plane crash, which had actually been called a missing flight. No one knew where it had crashed.
It was on the news and everything. Annie and I were interviewed by several news channels by phone call.
Another thing is that we were taken to the hospital for some examining to make sure no one had undiscovered injuries. An X-ray was taken of Abbie's knee to see if it's healing correctly, and luckily it's in the right place and it's healing quickly. Abbie has a knee brace now, and she can walk with it on.
No one else had injuries luckily. Allie was nervous about the baby, but there's no problems. The little one is healthy. Allie had an ultrasound yesterday, and Annie went with her. Annie said that because of how skinny and tiny Allie is, she already has a small baby bump.
And finally, we made it back home. We picked up August from the doggy boarding place, and we started putting away some Christmas decorations.
We posted the footage from our adventure last night, and it's number one on the trending page. Wow. Thirty million views in only twelve hours. Not one of us expected that.
Anyway, today Sapphire has gymnastics practice, and luckily for her, there was no practice during the Christmas break we were away for, so she hasn't missed anything. Abbie, on the other hand, can't cheer or tumble for three weeks. After that time, she may have to go to physical therapy.
Abbie is quite upset, but we talked to Angel's mom, and we were able to compromise with Abbie that she and Angel can have a ton of play dates during the time she can't cheer and tumble. Like, I mean at least two play dates a week.
As for Luca, tee ball is only spring and fall seasons, so he doesn't really have a sport to do right now. He's taken a recent liking to soccer though, so I'll kick a ball around with him in the sports side of the basement. There's just gymnastics mats and a floor beam there.

Two days later, the first day back after winter break....
"Hey everyone! How was school?" I asked the four kids as they climbed into the back of the mini van.
"Good!" They replied.
They helped buckle each other in. Sapphire and Luca sat in the middle row, and Angel and Abbie sat in the very back.
I began to drive away from their school.
"So, Sapphire, you have gym at five today, so you'll go home first, but mommy will take you at four thirty," I told Saph.
"Okay," she replied.
"So anyway, what do you guys want to do?" I asked them.
"Can we go get ice cream?" Luca asked.
"Yeah!" Sapphire, Abbie and Angel agreed with his idea.
"As cold as it is outside?" I chuckled, "Sure."
I drove to Baskin Robbins and parked the car. The kids got out of the car and we went inside.
They had to get samples of new flavors, of course.
After deciding what they wanted, I let them order. Luca ordered chocolate chip cookie dough on a cone, Sapphire got cotton candy in a cup, Angel got rainbow sherbet in a cup, and Abbie got cookies and cream on a cone.
We ate in the store and I filmed them eating their ice cream. They also told the camera about what they did at school while eating.
We got back in the car and drove home. It's now 4:00pm.
I unlocked the front door and the kids ran inside. Luca headed to his room, Sapphire headed to the kitchen table where she had been drawing with markers this morning before school, and Angel and Abbie went to Abbie's room.
This chapter ended kinda weird bc I was trying to get this out ASAP with school starting haha.
The next chapter will contain what happens at the play date.
