Quinn's POV

"Hey! Come in!" I smiled as I opened the door.

"Hi! It's nice to see you!" Hayley hugged me. "How are you guys?"

"We're okay. Kaley cries a lot and Jaxen is surprisingly pretty quiet. He's sleeping right now. Allie's with Kaley," I said.

"Aww! Can we go see her?" Annie asked.

"Yeah," I said.

I turned around and led Annie and Hayley to the living room. Allie was sitting on the couch talking to her daughter. Senica was sitting next to her and smiling at the baby.

Annie and Hayley sat in the chairs across from the couch. I sat down on Allie's other side.

"Hey Allie! How have you been?" Annie asked.

"I'm tired, but these kids are so cute they're worth it. Both of them bottle feed, so either Quinn or I can get up to feed them at night," she laughed.

"Their eyes have started to change to their real color—" I started, then Allie cut me off.

"Wait, what? When?!" She asked.

"I noticed last night. I told you, but maybe you forgot. Jaxen's started turning brown, and Kaley's have gotten more blue," I smiled.

"Aww, my babies are adorable," Allie laughed.

"Allie, you look exhausted, go get some sleep," Annie said.

"I'm fine, honestly," she chuckled.

"You were up with Kaley for two hours last night because she wouldn't stop crying." I raised my eyebrows.

"Come on, we'll watch Kale for you, just take a nap. Even a quick one," Hayley said.

Allie groaned.

"Fine," she said reluctantly, handing me her daughter.

After Allie left, Annie, Hayley, Senica, and I chatted for a little bit.

"Did you ever look up the babies' horoscopes?" Senica asked.

"The thing you and Allie have most in common is your love for astrology," I laughed, "and no, not yet. They're literally two weeks old, but now that you mentioned it, I'm intrigued."

Senica laughed as she pulled out her phone.

"Let's see, the horoscope for May 21st," she paused, reading her screen. "They'll be clever and adaptable, as well as generous and easygoing, and they're gonna love learning. They'll be really selfish though. They're going to be creative and imaginative. Ooh, and this isn't astrology, but the 21st is national strawberries and cream day." Senica smiled.

"That's nice. Maybe they'll like to get strawberries and cream Frappuccino's for their birthday when they're older," I laughed.

Sorry for the lack of updates, but I've suddenly had no time to write because I've gotten way too much homework recently, and I got a 40 on my last history test. I've also got midterms starting in less than a week, and I really need to study and prepare for them. Please don't expect me to update this book until at least December 21st, when I'm out for winter break.
