Refresher:
Fiona's living next door to CNBlue, a semi-local Korean boy band who somehow get tangled up in her life. So far, Minhyuk is the meddlesome child, Jungshin (sweetheart) barely understands English, Jonghyun seems to be the most sane, while Yonghwa is the least. See, Yonghwa was dating Minhyuk's sister, Mara, but Minhyuk devised a plan to keep them apart because their relationship was toxic enough to poison a horse. This plan involved Fiona pretending to be Yonghwa's rebound...Blah blah, he threw up on her, now the real planning starts between the two left behind members and her.

"And then... he held my hand! For the first time!"

"Carrots... " I checked that one off the shopping list after throwing the bag in the hand held shopping basket.

"Are you listening?!" Kaylie gasped through the phone. "I'm recounting the glorious tale of my first time out alone with Preston!"

"You mean your five year old step brother? I'm guessing you had a ball together..." I weighed in, drifting off as I neared the bread and pasta section of Target.

"Of course. McDonald's Playland is never not lit." Kaylie sighed and I imagined her glancing at the door, across the hall to where her dad's room was. "If only Julie let me watch him more often... she probably doesn't trust me. Especially since the latest BTS comeback"

"I probably wouldn't either. Let's be honest, you're a little creepy sometimes." I chuckled and tossed the first package of egg noodles I saw in the direction of my basket when a hand flashed below my elbow, grabbing it before it met with the carrots at the bottom.

"Whoa, that is not the brand you want," a feminine voice sang. She went straight from behind to beside me, and began surfing through the pile of pasta noodles stacked at eye level.

I recognized her almost immediately. The nice hair, the pretty eyes, the weirdly frilly dark blue top and the beautiful shoes that honestly made me feel a little bad about my budget.

When the face matched the name in my head, I nearly dropped my phone onto the ground. Er, if there wasn't a basket stuck to my side, ready break its fall.
Mara.
Minhyuk's apparently evil sister.
I snatched my cell back up and whisper yelled into it: "Kaylie are you there still?"

"Yeah what happened, is everything okay?" Aww that was my best friend. Never serious unless it's needed

"Yeah but I gotta call you back. Bye."

I turned back around to see Mara, who held up a similarly sized package of a different brand, although I still didn't see what was wrong with PastaBros.

"Here, this one is more reliable. More... authentic, you know, higher quality." The smile she gave never reached her eyes, which were becoming less pretty and more... how do you say menacing, but in relation to someone so small?

"Yeah..." I said with a confused expression.

Wait a minute!

I thought Yonghwa said that she went back to Korea! Now I'm confused because that was Minhyuk's end goal, right?

Ok maybe that explains why Minhyuk has been a little off the grid lately. Aww is he embarrassed his little plans didn't work out? But if that was true, then why is Mara still here?

"...Like me!" I looked up from the bag of pasta to see a proud looking expression on Mara's face.

"Huh?" Was she talking this whole time?

"Were you listening to anything I just said?"

"No, not really." I said plainly.

"Well I was comparing the pasta to myself. Elite and authentic." Her nose stuck up.
