Chapter 19-"She Did That on Purpose"

The next morning, Adam woke up and went downstairs to find the boys watching tv with Kevin, who'd spent the night last night to help out.

"Morning boys." Adam said, going into the kitchen.

"Hi daddy." They all replied, their show still holding their attention.

Adam made coffee and checked that day's agenda, which Kim had left for each day. Upon looking at it, he saw that the boys all had dentist appointments, haircuts, and check-ups scheduled for the day.

Adam internally groaned. "She did that on purpose." He mumbled, mentally preparing himself for a day of misery.

"What're we doing today, daddy?" Ben asked, he and the boys walking into the kitchen.

"We actually have a busy day today. And it isn't going to be much fun." Adam said, hoping the day would run smooth, but knowing it wouldn't.

"We eat breakfast first?" Andrew asked, making Adam chuckled.

"Yeah, we can eat breakfast first. I'll make pancakes and then you all need baths before we go."

After getting the boys all cleaned up and fed, Adam and Kevin took them to their first stop - the dentist.

"Oh man! I hate this place!" Ben whined as Adam signed them in.

"You and me both, pal." Kevin joked.

After the dentist appointments, at which none of them had cavities and went smoother than Adam expected, they had haircuts before their check-ups at the pediatricians office.

Pediatrician's office

"My hair short now." Andrew said as they waited in the waiting room, having just come from the barber shop.

"I hungry, daddy." Lincoln whined just as the nurse called them back.

"You'll be fine. I promise I'll buy you lunch at Sonic if you're good. Deal?" Adam negotiated as they walked back.

"Deal."

And the check-ups all went great, until they needed shots. All of them bawled and had to be held down by Adam and Kevin, which was totally fun for the men. *sarcasm*

That night, as the boys were asleep, Kim FaceTimed Adam.

"How was your day?" She asked sarcastically, knowing what she'd done.

"I know your little game, darling, sending me to do your dirty work while you're enjoying a vacation." Adam joked.

"Don't worry, I made tomorrow's schedule better. The boys need new shoes, if that's a hint."
