After the whole halloween ball incident, Kai and Xiumin have been training with Sooyoung since then. Of course, it didn't go unnoticed by the other Exo members

The training took a break by December for Christmas and New year. Now they're back for the start of their January training

So far, Xiumin and Kai discovered their powers quicker than they expected. It was confusing, considering the fact it took year for others to know what their power was

"Xiumin! Focus on hitting the target" Xiumin was having a hard time with his newly found ice powers. Everytime he shoots, there's always this some kind of recall that would push him back

Kai, on the other hand, almost got the hang of his teleportation powers. He somehow always misses an inch or more from the given place he was supposed to teleport to, but it was good enough

Sooyoung was being extra hard on them for some reason. "Xiumin! Are you the strongest member in exo? Are you?!" Sooyoung shouted

"Y-ye-"

"Well act like it goddamnit! You're taking that recall like a fucking girl!"

Sooyoung shook her head as she walked around their training grounds. "Woah, what the hell happened to Soo?" Kai said as he watched the said girl walked around with her hands on her head

"I got this" Chen smirked as he approched Sooyoung. they could see Chen and her talking about something and ending with Sooyoung nodding. Chen brought out his phone and called somebody

"What are they doing?" Xiumin mumbled

"Hey!" Sooyoung shouted from afar "who told you to stop training?"

Kai and Xiumin quickly went back to training with Lay guiding them.

A few minutes later, Kris and Jessica arrived with take in their hands. "Hey Soo! I heard you were hungry" Jessica smiled.

"Oh so that's why she's cranky" Xiumin and Kai laughed, while Sooyoung devoured the whole box of chicken Jessica bought. "Yah! You guys, take a break also. We bought one box especially for Soo, and 3 more for the rest of us" Kris smiled

After eating, Sooyoung finally calmed down and became easy on them. "Xiumin, here's a tip" Sooyoung stand next to him "try creating your shards smaller, but pointier. so the recall decrease and also deadly at the same time"

Xiumin nodded and continued on practicing. As for Kai, he was getting better and better

"Yo where's Kai?" Sehun asked as he came down to the living room. "probably hanging out with Summer" Baekhyun rolled his eyes. "Damn, she's been hanging out with him and Xiumin hyung for a some time now" Sehun frowned

"Yeah, how do you think they did it?" Baekhyun wondered together with Sehun. "Who how they did it what?" Chanyeol came in from the kitched. "Wha- fix your grammar" Baekhyun threw as pillow to the giany, who successfully catched it

"I mean who are you guys talking about?" Chanyeol laughed as he sat down next to Baekhyun. "Xiumin hyung and Kai, they've been hanging out with Summer for a while now" Sehun replied

It was no secret that the three of them were jealous, given the fact that they actually like her. "where are they anyway?" Baekhyung asked.

"I just texted Lay hyung and he said they're at the palace mansion, hanging out with Jessica noona" Chanyeol answered. "Do you think we can join them?" Sehun asked
