Chapter 7

[Sorry it took me so long to update. My computer was having problems for a while, so it took some time to find a way to fix it.]

The next day at the Festival of Light

The town (The VKs are watching everyone around them enjoying themselves)

NINO: Well, might as well look like we're enjoying the festivities. Come on.

While Lila and Chloe were busy admiring and trying on dresses and accessories, it gave Adrien a chance to get away from them. Pretty soon, he found Marinette having fun with her friends and the children.

Music they danced to:

(Marinette spots Adrien, and encourages him to join them. Adrien politely shakes his head "no", so Marinette came up to him and dragged him into the circle. Pretty soon, others joined in, and this attracted the attention of the other VKs. Nino and Sabrina choose to jump in as well. When the music finally ends, Adrien and Marinette find themselves facing each other.)

ANNOUNCER: Everyone, quick to the boats.

MARINETTE: Come on. You all are going to love the boats.

CHLOE: May I please ask why?

MARINETTE: When they release the lanterns, you'll get a more miraculous view of it all. I always do it with my friends.

LILA: Sounds...interesting.

MARINETTE: If you don't want to, I won't force you. See you later. (Runs off to get a boat)

The pier (Marinette is getting into the boat)

ADRIEN: Hey, Marinette.

MARINETTE: Oh, Adrien. How can I help you?

ADRIEN: I was wondering if it wasn't too late for me to join you on the ride.

MARINETTE: Oh, not at all. I was planning to go with Alya, but she said that Nino asked her to join him. So, come on.

(Adrien gets in and rows the boat to an open space of water)

Miraculous castle (Ladybug and Tom appear in front of their subjects holding a lantern with the family symbol on it.)

As soon as Ladybug and Tom released their lantern into the sky, their subjects and everyone else did the same.

Back at the water (Marinette is placing flowers in the water. She then notices the lanterns appearing)

Marinette: All those days watching from the windows
All those years outside looking in
All that time never even knowing
