That's when I realized that I wasn't the one.
I'm not the one who's going to make you laugh until you cry.
I'm not the one who's going to make chicken soup for you when you feel sick.
I'm not the one who's going to wake you up with breakfast in bed.
I'm not the one who's going to fix your tie whenever you have to go out.
I'm not the one who's going to take care of your heart.
However, I am the one who's going to love you for eternity.
I'm not the one because you found someone else. You realized that she was the one. You didn't love me, you cared for me and I'm thankful for that. I'm thankful I got to experience true affection with you.
I'm thankful but I still wish I was the one, the one who stole your heart.
