Part 1
"What?" I said as pops stood on what he said and didn't say anything so I stepped in his face
"Keeping secrets and lying thats all what you and mom have done since I was fucking born what the fuck are you talking about?"
I snapped because he was using Hakeems named in vain after I said that he slap me
I started crying hitting him on his chest trying to aim for his face when he grabbed and pushed me on the floor and got on top to restrain he looked me in my eyes
"Where the fuck is my daughter!?" He yell I could see the pain in his eyes as he got off me and went up stairs holding his head
"Y'all grounded!" Mom said
Kami and I went upstairs for the day I didn't even come down for dinner I went to sleep...
"So how are you and Jeremy been?" Kim asked
"Good, why you ask?" Shaé asked
"Damn Shaé I can't ask I mean I am your sister in law." Kim said
"My bad it's just that, he isn't a...you know anymore."Shaé said when Kim shut the room door
"Isn't a what?" She asked sitting on the bed
"A virgin." Na'Shaé replied
"He told you that?" Kim asked
"Yeah he wanted me to lose it but I'm not ready he didn't get mad at me when I told him no he hugged me, gave me this ring and said he understood." She said
"That's good for both of y'all but y'all to young for that anyways y'all in middle school but I'm happy that you said no." Kim said
"Please don't tell Hakeem." Na'Shaé begged
"I won't just keep your head in them school books okay?" Kim said squeezing Shaé's cheeks then she nodded
Kim got off the bed and was opening the door then stopped and looked at Shaé "For starters I'm glad you told me and you can come to me about anything but try going to god and ask for guidance he'll you better than I can."
All of sudden Shaé dream goes black and she's standing in a wet room bare foot in a tank and underwear she begins to tiptoe when the floor made noise
She turned a corner when she seen a shadow going up stairs and heard a voice talking so she followed the shadow
Na'Shaé realized it was a mans voice who was sad and who was talking to her she didn't want to make a sound but the man turned around
Na'Shaé broke down and fell to her knees it was Hakeem and she ran to give him and hug
"Stop being stuck in your ways you have to be yourself and pay more attention to the people around you I need your help go to the -..."
Hakeem stopped talking when he heard the steps "Who else is here?" Shaé asked
"I don't know." Hakeem said when Nashaé wakes up out of her dream on the floor in sweat and tears
Then her phone was still blowing up with messages about the fight that people tagged her in on facebook about the fight
When she seen Marshawn and Késhaun called she looked at what all that has happen took a deep breath
She got up and went to her parents room; she opened the door they were sleep she was thinking "Why is her dad still here?"
Something did feel right so she wanted to go to the address but not alone so called for someone to tag alone
She hung up, got dressed no more than twenty four minutes later Shaé open her room door peeked around the corner
Then went back in her room locked her door and grabbed her purse then climb out her window as Marshawn was waiting outside
She got in and they drove off "Where we going again?" He asked; she told him the address.
"Are we going to talk about earlier?" Marshawn asked
"Nah, I knew it was coming sooner or later so I don't have much to say." Shaé said
"Are you okay?" Marshawn asked
"Why wouldn't I be?" She asked
"People having a field about us, your friends, Késhaun, and who came up the name freaksquad?" He asked laughing
"The was funny at the time not anymore." Na'Shaé said when Marshawn stopped laughing
"Did you see what they said about me and you?" He asked looking at the road as Shaé glanced at him
"No, I was sleep since I came home so what was said?" She asked
"Are we almost there yet?" He said dodging her question
"Don't do that answer me Marshawn why are me and you a topic of discussion?" Na'Shaé asked
He unlocked his phone and gave it to her; she seen what that people tagged them in side chick post "The streets talking about you and KéShaun too." He said
"I'll check later." Na'Shaé said when they pulled up to what looked like a abandoned house
Shaé was about to get out the car Marshawn pulled her arm "What's the plan we just can't walk in there it might be and ambush or something." He said then Nashaé pulls out her gun "I didn't forget about it tonight." She said
As Marshawn smiled, got his gun and followed her; Nashaé was walking up to the back yard when herphone vibrates and she looks at it she seen it was a text from dad again
DAD
Key is in the water on the wall by the flower stone
"What?" Marshawn asked as Shaé looked at the text
"Either somebody is here or watching us." She said looking around
"Doesn't matter we not here alone." Marshawn said as Shaé got the key
Nashaé was completely on alert now she takes her gun off safety as did Marshawn as he holds up his gun
Na'Shaé opened the door as Marshawn slowly walked in first it was dark but light was shining in from the street lights
Although she still couldn't see so she turned on her phone light and started to wave it around she started walking when she stepped on some glass
She shined the light and seen that it was a picture frame she was about to go for the picture when Marshawn said "What the fuck is this?"
