I called a meeting it was me, my pops and the rest of the fellas at our warehouse hidden in the back of the woods; I sent Kami, Na'Shaé out with Kim making up a lie to tell my momma and Aunt Denise on why Sasha was here and not Jaceon.
As I was about to start talking the door opened; Sly walked in asking "What's this meeting for?"
I ignored the nigga question "Nice for you to join us?" I said and he laughed while taking a seat
"Hey Sasha." Sly said and she waved
"Where Jaceon?" He asked
He's busy Malik said and everybody looked at him "Um okay." He said laughing to himself
"Now as I told y'all we were making new connections-..."
"...Connections...I thought we was laying low!?" Sly interrupted
"The streets dry and I don't want a repeat and lose more of my soldiers so with that being said I found another connect for right now nothing long term." I said when my pops got up
"You found a new connect without discussing it with me?" He asked, I looked around the room and back at him "Last time I checked this is my business I call the plays."
A awkward silence filled the room as he sat down and nobody said a word until Sly laughed "What's funny?" I asked him "It was nothing gone ahead bruh." He said
"Don't interrupt me again." I said and continued with the meeting
"I don't know when I want to meet them but-.."
"Them!?" Malik said then I sat down getting pissed off
"Damn, yeah he said them nigga now can y'all shut the fuck up!?" KéShaun said
"If you not fucking with coming out for two nights to get a bag walk out now." I said and nobody moved
"Obviously I'm making the right call none of y'all walked out so like I was saying we not doing business with one of them...we're robbing one." I told them as they all looked at each other as some grinned while others were confused
Then here goes my pops getting up again "I just know you ain't talking about robbing them niggas we just met up with last month. He said
"Yeah I am." I replied
"Them Russians is not about to play games if you fuck up nigga!" He said
"I won't." I replied to him as he looked at me like I was insane
"Hakeem this is your father talking now listen they will kill us all if you fuck up, one mistake that's all it takes." Pops was saying as I seen he started to tear up
"One last chance...if you don't want to go get a bag for two nights walk out and don't look back." I said and no one moved as me and my pops kept looking dead in each others eyes
"Are you trying to get us killed?" He asked me
"I'm not like you I know how to move different and think before I act." I responded
"What are you planning because this shit you don't do." He said and I didn't say anything
"If you're in trouble let me know." He said as I began to walk away he grabbed me by my suit jacket and jacked me up against the wall holding his finger at me as tears fell from his eyes
