The Winter Stories Part 1

So its the end of the school day Nashaé is sitting in class reading over the text message and phone call she got last night when she came from work when the teacher passed out a slip as the announcements was coming on when Shaé read the slip it read:

Dear Parents,

Its that time of the year school is letting out for Christmas Break from December 8 and your child will not return til January 9,2017 so if any further questions call the front office.

Have A GREAT HOLIDAY A COMEBACK SAFE AND SOUND
MERRY CHRISTMAS AND HAPPY NEW YEAR.

As Shaé was done reading the bell ranged and so did her phone it was her manager

Shaé: What's up boss lady?She said walking towards her locker

Manager Cassie:Hey there Shaé I was calling because last night everybody except for you and kia signed what days they wanted off and I was hoping you'll come in today to do it since you're off today.
Shaé: Yes ma'am I'm on the way.

Manager Cassie: Thanks see you when you get here.
Shae:You too see you in few.

They conversation ends while Shaé closes her locker and headed down the stairs she here's Chloe

Chloe:Vote me prom queen!She yelled pointing at the poster as Brooke mean mugged Ember as she was walking pass her to me

Shaé: If that arm wasn't fucked girrrrl.Shaé said laughing opening up the door for Ember as she looked back at Brooke as she shot a bird

Ember: Yeah let's hope that they know that too...dumb bitches

Ember:Wait where's Quan and Mimi

Shaé: They left during lunch

Ember: Let me guess since they punk ass think cause they been here and we haven't they just go because they been in school how smart

Shaé: We out now bitch calm down.She said laughing

Shaé: Hows your arm?She asked as she saw Ember rubbing her arm

Ember: It'll be fine just got to take some medicine when I get home.She said smiling

Ember:Are we about to get more clothes and go to your house or just wait?She asked cause she doesn't want to go home

Shaé: I mean shidd I'm not scared but I think my daddy start to not give a fuck about me anymore anyway he already done kicked me out two or three times so why not just move but momma act like she's worried about me but I can't tell she called my phone once to see if Kami was coming home

Ember:Damn what about...Késhaun

Nashaé: I miss and hate him but I can't see him until I know what's in that house me and Marshawn left and before you ask no you can't go with me because if something happens your arm will fuck us up and we dont need any more trouble

Ember:I knew you was gone say that so that's why I was going to suggests you take Mimi.

Nashaé:What?...Hell no!

Ember:Marshawn?

Nashaé: No he's...She said not knowing what to say about him

Ember: He's what?She said as she sees Shaé avoids eye contact

Nashaé: I told you we really only can trust ourselves and Kami.

Ember:What has he done to make you not trust him?

Nashaé: Nothing I just can't ask him to go again I got it OK.

Ember:Oh I see.She said as can't help but to think that Shaé might like Marshawn

Ember: But um listen when we found out Hakeem knew Késhaun and Jaceon did Késhaun ever tell you about a dead friend that got kilt because of his girl

Nashaé: Yeah why

Ember: Because even though our parents didn't want us around the drugs n stuff even the fyl gang we was still around it even at Hakeems funeral Jaceon and Késhaun had to be there so I know they seen us or something right I keep trying to think back to that day but I can't picture all the people's face but something doesn't seem right every since the night I got shot that's the only thing I can think of somebody is lying somewhere to hide or protect something

Nashaé: No you're not wrong but somebody is trying to tell us something.She said watching the road

Ember:Yeah but were to stupid to see it.She said frustrated

Nashaé: Did anyone try to reach out to you?She asked looking at Ember

Ember:About?She said looking confused

Nashaé:Everything going on.She finished say while tapping on the wheel

Ember:No.She said honestly

Nashaé:Well I'm about go in here I'll be right.She said getting out pointing at her job as Ember nodded her head

Nashaé: Hey Everybody! She came in loud as everybody smiled and some said hey back while Cassie was taking a order

Manager Cassie: The list is in my office

As Nashaé was looking for the list of days she notice a light go off she looked up and sees Cassie's phone light up and it says Amara so while every body was busy she shut the office door and grabbed the phone with no hesitation and tired to unlock it but she need a password so she started rambling in draws and the computer but she found nothing til she seen her purse on top of the filing cabinet so she peeked through the crack of the door didn't see anybody so she quickly ran to the purse and started looking through it when she came across a locked notebook with separation tabs so she went P's hoping she finds the password but it was an email and then she looked at the email it was four numbers at the end she prayed that it worked, she put everything back in her purse and put it back and typed in the four numbers and it work and she didn't have to do much because the phone was already on the text and with the name she sees they was talking about made Shaé shocked and pissed at the sametime she was trying to keep it together when she heared footsteps so she hurried and put the phone down and finished writing her days off when Cassie walked in.
