I stared gleefully into the crystal, listening to my mother's words. She was on my side after all!

She would help my plan immensely!

"This is wonderful!" I gasped, clasping my hands together as I watched Mother comfort Dreyna. The two of them were closer then I'd suspected them to be, I hadn't realized how fond of my wife my mother was.

"Yes, lovely," Amora was completely disinterested. She sat her her table, her finger errantly turning the pages of the book in front of her, long legs crossed. She's bored, waiting for my plan to start unfolding.

It shouldn't be long know.

I knew I shouldn't be, but I was incredibly pleased Dreyna was so accepting of carrying my child! Why, this would make everything so much easier.

I gazed at the only two women I cared about, seeing Dreyna mop at her pretty eyes. She'd have to call for me soon, yes? She'd use the stone I gave her? I would be gallivanting into Asgard and regaining my title soon enough!

Wonderful!

"We need to start making plans!" I announced, glancing at Amora's blonde form.

"Plans?" She looked over her shoulder at me. "What plans? I thought this was the plan."

"It is. But now I need a way into Asgard."

"Isn't the dungeon keeper the way in?"

"Well, yes, but I need a way to her."

"Loki ---."

"Hush and listen. There must be some kind of attack on Asgard, some threat that'll make it possible for me to slip in unnoticed. I'll show up, protect Dreyna at the risk of my own well being, and be taken back into the royal folds!"

"I wish you wouldn't say it like that. It's not going to be that easy."

"I'm simplifying it. Who do we know would make good scapegoats?" I pondered, leaning on my hands where they pressed against the table. "There's bersekers, raiders --- ooo, maybe some vengeful Frost Giants?"

"You're going to sacrifice your own people?" Amora quirked a brow at me. "How are you going to convince them to attack Asgard after you already got their king murdered with such a plan?"

I supposed she had a point there.

"Any suggestions then?" I inquired, tapping my fingers impatiently. I wanted to get to Asgard within the next week, I want to get back to my family and reclaim my title! I didn't want to be on the run anymore, I wanted to be home.

With my future wife and child.

Amora huffed, leaning back on her stool.

"What about the Dark Elves? They're dying for a way to get into Asgard, aren't they? They're the ones who invaded last time and gave you the opportunity to escape."

Hmm.

That's very true.

"Yes, but where will I find any remaining Dark Elves? Thor and my father slaughtered most of them who ventured into Asgard that day, so what remains of them will be in deep hiding. Plus, I don't want them to do any serious damage to my home." I frowned. "This is all for show."

"Well then, why not get some of the berserkers from Thyrheim, isn't there? Why not round up some of those bad boys and toss them into Asgard? Let's say they think Asgard has weakened with the recent discourse between its leaders, and they've come to lay waste and pillage." Amora spun the tale with a bored expression. "That sounds stupid enough for them, doesn't it?"
