A/N: Here it is, finally: the very very long overdue epilogue. Sorry for the wait! Thank you again for everything, love you guys!!

"So, how are things with you and Scott going, Son?"

Mitch had to laugh at the question. Of course his dad would ask; he asked about their relationship every time they talked.

Rather than flustering him like it used to, though, Mitch just found it amusing. After all, he and Scott had been together for over five months now. He'd had plenty of time to get used to it.

"Just as good as last time you asked, Dad," Mitch answered playfully.

Which was to say, fucking amazing.

The two of them were totally, head over heels in love with each other. Mitch couldn't possibly be any happier with how his life was going.

"Actually, tomorrow is our six month anniversary," Mitch added softly after a pause. "Which I doubt Scott even remembers, but it's still kind of exciting."

Mike scoffed. "Why wouldn't he remember?" he asked.

Mitch took a moment to think of an answer. "Because it's not a big deal," he explained finally. "It's just six months, it's not like it's our real anniversary."

"Of course it's a big deal, Mitch!" Mike insisted. "Half a year is a long time. Isn't it a big deal to you?"

Mitch bit his lip. "Well... yeah."

This was his relationship with Scott they were talking about. Obviously it was a big deal to him, he'd wanted them to be together for such a long time. Every anniversary was important in his eyes.

But for most people a six month anniversary was pretty trivial. He wouldn't blame Scott at all if he was saving his excitement for their one year.

"Then I'm sure it'll be a big deal for Scott, too," Mike hummed. "Especially considering how much he adores you. You know you're his world, right? I've always been able to see it in the way he looked at you."

Mitch lets out a shaky breath. "Dad," he warned. His voice was full of emotion, but he was doing his best to at least try to keep the tone light.

"Truth be told, I could always see how much he meant to you, too," Mike informed him, ignoring Mitch's warning. "Your mom and I were always hoping so much that you and Scott would get together some day. We really wanted that happiness for you, and it means the world to us both that you finally have that."

Mitch wasn't sure how to react. A part of him was totally mortified that his giant crush on Scott had been so obvious to his mom and dad all along. Despite his embarrassment, though, he was also so grateful that he had such supportive parents. It felt great to know that they approved of his relationship. "You just love to make me emotional, don't you?" he asked with a soft laugh. He was sure Mike could probably just hear that he was holding back tears. "Thank you, Dad."

"You're welcome. We just want what's best for you, and Scott is what's best for you. By far," Mike said. "But if he does happen to forget about your anniversary then I'll be having a stern talking with him."

Mitch groaned. "God, no," he replied right away. Mike was usually the sweetest man ever, but when he got angry he was frankly terrifying; he did not want his boyfriend to have to face that wrath.

Just as Mitch opened his mouth to say something else to his father, he was suddenly interrupted by the sound of the door to his and Scott's dorm room swinging open.

Mitch looked up straight away at the sound. Instantly a look of pure fondness came to his face – the one that he thankfully never had to try and hide anymore. "Speak of the devil," he teased.
