chapter 3

I woke up cuddled in my blanket realizing Derek was gone ... Sadly... But I looked at the time, it read 6:32, wow I can't believe I slept that long, I went down stairs to find no one home so I decided to go in the fridge and find some food. I looked through the fridge and grabbed some oreo's and milk cause there was nothing good.

"so you slept good I'm guessing?now that it's 6:37" I heard Scotts voice I didn't know he was home??

"yea , actually I slept really good" smiling thinking about Derek

"why are you smiling like that for" he laughed and asked

"I got reasons..."I replied drifting off automatically thinking of Derek

"like what" he asked curiously

"don't worry about it teeheh" I told him And walked to my room ignoring his questions

Derek's P.O.V

I pulled up to animal clinic and rushed in

"Deaton!" I yelled

he came walking around the corner

"what do you need Derek?" He asked kindly

"I need to know why I'm so madly in love with Scott's sister Brooklyn, I just me her like 9 hours ago"I told him calmly

"why don't you come to the back and we can talk about this"he said

I walked to the back and stared at him with desperation to know why I'm in love with Brooklyn ,

"so Derek tell me what clings you to her" Deaton asked

"Well, I can't seem to get my mind off her , like I just can't stop thinking of she is okay and hoping she is happy, I love bring around her and even near her, honestly I get this weird feeling in my stomach and it doesn't go away when I'm around her, and when she talks my heart speeds up to 100mph and it won't stop, and I feel empty when I'm not with her , like right now, I feel like going crazy cause I can't be by her side , it's like-" I was cut off by Deaton

"you need her" he finished

"yes, I wouldn't let anyone or anything hurt her" I said

"well Derek, it seems like you may all ready know the answer to your question, but I'll answer it for you, it seems like...she is your mate" he told me

I stood there looking at him with concern wondering how I will tell her , let alone tell Scott that she is my mate

"how, no who should I tell first her or Scott?"

"well, that's your decision but it might be best of you tell Scott , knowing Brooklyn probably doesn't know what a mate is" Deaton explained

"okay"I said with concern

I left afterwards and decided to go back to my burnt down house I walked inside finding Kate and Chris standing in my living room, I growled at them

"what are you guys doing here!" I asked clearly mad

"oh nothing just wondering how you been" Kate said with sarcasm

"Kate, we were wondering of you had a mate yet seeing that you might after so long," Chris said looking at me

"why do you wanna know"I asked madly

"well because Derek , when you have a mate and she is human , did you know you have to turn her?" Late told me

"well, why should I have to turn her?" I asked mad

"oh okay so you do have a mate" Kate said surprised

"you need to change her, not only will it give you more power but you are going to need an alpha female am I correct?" Chris asked

I stood there silent staring at them

"but what of I don't want to change her," I asked

"you can of you want to or of you don't that would be a bad mistake, even though we are werewolf hunter we will not harm her it you " Chris stated

"are you serious!" Kate yelled "what of I wanted to hurt her or him" she asked

"nonsense, we hunt those who hunt us remember Kate" Chris said

"fine w.e I'm leaving"Kate said

She walked out the house and waited for Chris

"listen Derek , I don't want to hurt maybe some random teenage girl, so either you do it or not!" Chris said "yes or no"

"I guess... I'll do it" I said to Chris

He walked out of the house, I knew I would feel guilt but I have no choice I guess , Brooklyn can't defend herself and ik this will help her but how will I tell her and scott?

Brooklyn's P.O.V

I was listening to music until Scott came in my room I took out my one of my head phones and listen to him speak he had a weird look on his face, then a mad one he ran to the bathroom and ran in throwing a mad looking Derek out of it , I was really surprised

"WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU DOING INTO SISTERS ROOM!" Scott asked clearly pissed off

"all there of us need to talk" Derek said calmly

"about what" Scott yelled,

It was 9:30 and mom was at work so it didn't matter of they yelled or not

"ABOUT YOUR SISTER BEING MY MATE AND ANCHOR!" Derek yelled

Scott and I looked at each other with a surprised look on our face , I knew what a mate was but what Is an anchor

"I know what a mate is but what's and anchor?" I asked Derek and Scott

" an anchor is someone or an anger that can keep you from.changing and keep you calm When you are mad, for instance Allison is Scotts anchor" Derek explained

"well I don't care of you her mate or not I don't want you near my sister!" Scott yelled/talked

Derek looked upset but pissed when he said this his eyes turned red a he was walking closer to Scott , his were glowing gold, I had to do something so I jumped to Derek facing his way holding his face in my soft hands, I was light pushing him away from Scott to the wall telling him

"listen Derek , everything will be okay, I won't let him keep me away from you okay calm.down  now or I will stay away from you Ily now listen to me you can't hurt him without hurting me" I whispered to him while I was pushing him light to the wall, his eyes were their normal green again, I leaned forward slowly and kissed him, I put my arms around his neck while his were around my curvy waist I really didn't care of Scott was in my room at this point and I front care of I just met Derek today, I loved him at first sight and same for him.

Derek's P.O.V

Brooklyn kissed me so

Light and passionare , it took my breath away, she didn't even care that Scott was in the room with us , but I seen him leave the room pissed off but I kept kissing her, slowly and passionate, she pulled away giving us some air, I lifted her chin up and kissed her again, but my urge to mate with her was so hard to avoid , I lifted her logs up and erupted her legs around my waist and switched spots with her so she was up against the wall. Right now I didn't care about the whole "changing her into a werewolf" thing , I just needed her tonight.
