(WHILE BECKY IS STILL KIDNAPPED)
I hear the clock in the hallway ticking.
The floor creaks softly every now and then. The lights flicker, the walls make noises, and the window shakes from the wind.
I curl up in a ball as my hands are tied to the bed.
I feel the salty tears drip into my mouth.
I try to stop crying but I can't.
What's the use.
I hear someone walk down the hall.
"That's her?" I hear an unfamiliar voice say.
I hold still.
"Yeah. She's probably asleep. But if you get me the money sooner she's yours." Says John.
I hear them mumble then walk away.
What the..
The front door slams shut.
I jump.
The house falls silent again.
"Ryan! You leave this time with me. Paul you watch over he girl ok! I need to go talk to Lane, but watch her we need her even more now."
The door slams shut again.
I hear Paul sigh.
The tv gets turned on. People watching football yell and scream.
I sigh.
The bed creaks.
Ugh..

BRADS PERSPECTIVE
Brad drives down the street in his car. He drives to where the party was. He pulls over and steps out.
He walks around. He notices a paper with a note on it.
The girl needs to be here by the 28th or you're fired. I can't hold onto this money forever.

Brad puts the paper in paper pocket and walks back to his car.
He takes it his phone and calls someone.
"Hello?"
"Hi Mom. I'm heading over to the police station."
"Ok honey thanks for letting me know."
"Bye love you Mom."
"Love you too."
Be sets his phone down and drives down the street.
The sun starts to set and people slowly make their way back home.
He pulls up to the station.
A few cars sit outside and all the lights are on inside the building.
He walks in and asks for a detective.
They take him back to a room.
"Brad. Hello." Says the detective.
"Hi.. I umm.. have something for you."
The detective raises and eyebrow. "What it is?"
Brad hands him the paper.
"Oh.." He says.
"Is everything ok?"
The detective gulps. "No sadly. This is very bad. This guy Lane, he's a huge crime boss. And he's helping the men that took Becky."
