Chapter 53 The God Speedster

//Aries POV//

"Simeon!" Aries cried out as she saw what has become of the battle between the two demi-gods when she arrived. Virus hand was buried into Simeon's chest. "No!"

"So weak..." Virus sneers as he rips his hand out of Simeon's chest. Blood following out as it spills everywhere around the ground. The way his blood was spilling out...the way Simeon's eyes widened as his body dropped to the floor. It angered her and looked at the one who caused it. Her feet acting before her mind as went on the attack. Raising her fist as she went on the attack. Going at the fastest speed she could go at and struck-

But the strike never made it...Virus caught her fist and twisted her arm, her face twisted in agony. But Aries didn't give up; she raised her knee and struck him in the stomach.

"You'll pay!" Aries roared as Virus staggered away. Aries body covered itself with pink electricity. Her body vibrating as she glares at the demi-god responsible of her lover's demise. Virus was looking at her with manic grin as his body vibrated the same and dark blue electricity dancing around his body. "Now you face a speedster at full power! Virus!"

"Show me then, resurrected one." Virus growled with excitement of this next fight.

//Ryuko POV//

She didn't understand anything. Ayumu laid on the floor, gasping for breath. Nina, Ann, Beatrice, and Shizuka were forced to watch and couldn't do anything. Hinata attempting to get him to breath. Another woman had appeared and was fighting Virus while Simeon laid on the floor bleeding out. Ryuko ran to the one Virus called her father...

"Can you stand?" Ryuko asked as she attempted to help him up but he grabbed her arm. Stopping her as he looked at her in the eyes.

"You look so much like your mother..." Simeon smiled as he looks behind Ryuko; she follows his gaze to see him looking at the battle going on with Virus and the other speedster. "Aries is proud to have a daughter like you, Ryuko...be strong."

"Daughter...how is that possible...?" Ryuko asked as she clinked to him, attempting to get him up but he refused to stand.

"I know you have a lot of questions. I cannot not answer them and you must know by now about your life outside the game." Simeon told and she nodded in response. "I cannot go on. This was predicted and I have to die in order to win."

"I don't understand..."

"In time, you will. And I wished I could have had the time to talk to you more, my daughter. To have you know of me...and your true mother." Simeon told her with kindness, even with a small trail of blood rolling down his mouth and dripping down his chin. Ryuko could only look away, sad that this man was going to die and have accepted it, yet, she was glad...to find a man that calls her his daughter.

"...How can we beat Virus?" Ryuko asked quickly.

"Leave him..." Simeon began as he raises his hand and aims it at Ayumu was beginning to stand slowly. "Leave Virus to Ayumu, Ryuko..."

It was there when a light begins to glow on the palm of his hand, the light surrounds Ayumu and Hinata backs away from it...Ayumu flinched to this but then jumped when a surge of electricity ran across his body before it went into full sparks of it around his legs, arms-his entire body.

"What did you-"

"I made him more than some speedster. My powers...my speed now are his." Simeon chuckled before collapsing-

"Simeon?!" Ayumu appeared in a burst of lightning and catching Simeon before he fell.

"Huh...you recovered already." Simeon chuckled.
