I got up at my usual time of seven only to realise it was Saturday and my second date with Melissa, I grinned as I thought of how this date came about.

It was the morning after our date and I had a double period with Melissa and the rest of the class, sadly. I couldn't help but stand behind my desk when the bell went for first period and grin when my register class were leaving. A few people came in then Melissa did with her friend. We grinned at each other and said 'good morning'. I then turned my back and began to write up on the board. I kept sneaking glances at Melissa, she concentrated so hard in this class, she was by far the best pupil, no favouritism intended. Suddenly I felt my leg vibrate, confused by this, I pulled my phone out of my pocket forgetting I was in the middle of my class and grinned when I seen her name on my phone. I glanced up to see her smirking at me, she winked and went back to her DNA Replication worksheet. I chuckled to myself quietly, as to not let the class get suspicious. I opened up the text.

“I was just wondering, what are you doing this weekend? X”

I knew I couldn’t get back to sleep now I had remembered I was taking her out. I jumped out of bed and decided to grab something to eat before I would make my way for a long shower.

We had agreed to meet at the Concert Hall where ‘Lord of the Dance’ was performing. The ticket asked us to be seated by one o‘clock in the afternoon. When Melissa arrived at our designated meet up, she gave me a little peck on the cheek as we grinned at each other. We took our seats and waited for the concert to start.
When the interval came around, I was leading Melissa to the small Café that was inside the building. She gave me a gentle push; we were having a mini, mock argument.

"I can do it, I just don't want to" I stuck my tongue out

Melissa laughed and shook her head disbelievingly, but I wasn't lying; I took Irish dancing classes when I was eight. We picked up out pre-ordered drinks and picked a seat as close to our door as we could. I had a Jack Daniels and Coke and Melissa had a Blue WKD.

“So what are we doing in Biology next week, Sir?” Melissa teased.

“The Physical act of Love” I winked back, without missing a beat.

Melissa almost spat her drink everywhere as she started to laugh.

All too soon the interval was over and we were all filing back into the hall for the second part of the concert.

Once the concert was finished we were both hungry and so I offered to cook her homemade Pasta for dinner. We caught a bus back to my place.

I got the keys out of my pocket and started to feel a little nervous. I hadn't cooked for someone in quite a while, I opened the door to the main building and Melissa took the lead up the bright lit close. We laughed and talked about the concert and I done a small, mock Jig to take lead back. It made her laugh and I couldn't help but grin as she did; she had a lovely laugh. We had now reached the second floor, which lead us to my flat.
I saw my hand shake as I put the key in the door and I heard her giggle a little.

"Are you nervous about having me over?" She asked so sweetly.

"A little" I grinned at her and she smiled back, placing her hand on my back.

"I can go home, I don't want it to be awkward or put pressure on you" she said with a serious tone.

"No, no, no!" I stopped, turning and putting my hands on her shoulders.

She looked up at me with her sparkling eyes and I felt my heart melt a little and I smiled at her. I squeezed her shoulder.

“No. I'd love to have you over and to cook you dinner"
