I.
I now know what is meant by, "falling in love."
3000 feet until the antigravity kicks on,
The warmth of a subatomic connection between two people,
And the quick dizzy spell of elation coloring perceptions and numbing the body.
II.
I now know what is meant by feeling, "broken."
The dump heap of aching,
And the inaudible frequency of a whimpering heart.
Bones turn to jello, mind in the deep slumber of a dark hurricane.
III.
I now know what is meant by, "picking up the pieces."
You collect them, from under your bed,
From the cracks in your head,
From starlight and from rear view mirrors.
-The parcels lost in love.
