He wrote atleast 37 plays and a lot of poems. His plays are amongst the most famous in the English language, and his writing shaped the way we speak.
Romeo and Juliet is his best known tragedies and is in many songs and films.In 1564 he was born in Stratford-upon-Avon, Warwickshire. He married a girl named Anne Hathaway, he had 3 children - Susanna, Hamnet, and Judith. In 1585 he began an acting career that grew into a writing career.
And in 1597 the first printed version of Romeo and Juliet was published.
He died aged 52.Not many of his beliefs are known. We do know he got on very well with the royal family and wrote his plays to their liking. Like Richard III. He presented the king as a bad character because the Tudor family believed so.
