Hello everyone! This chapter is being uploaded because I am off school today, so I thought I may as well write a little.
Enjoy!
The cold moon shone down through the branches, as I crept forwards with a brisk pace. I felt adreneline rush through my veins, as I crept through the dark and shady trees. I had packed all of my cloths, and I had water and Lembas bread with me, so I would not get hungry.
After descovering Legolas and Tauriel, I decided there would never be a place for me in the romantic world, so I decided to sole pursue another destiny. I warrior. I was leaving, and I was going to return the Helm's Deep, so I could fight with my brothers and sisters.
I winced, because one of my brothers didn't make it this far. I shook my head, and continued fowards, running swiftly along the roots of the trees, until I reached the gate. The gate ws huge, and was guarded day and night. I grimaced as I saw the guards.
Deciding this wasn't the best way to get out, I double backed, and ended up back near my room. Well that was about half an hour wasted. Looking around, I saw a large room, that I had somehow never noticed before. The King's Room. Creeping, I realized that the King was out for about two days.
He wouldn't be in there. Curiosity bubbled in my stomach, and eventually overcame me. I slowly, very slowly, pushed the door open, to reveal not only a gigantic bed, but a vast library, with books and books piled high into the sky. My jaw dropped, as I gazed around.
Suddenly, something clicked. I realized that there was a book for everyone and everything in this library, so, there may be one about my history. Excited at the prospect of finding out who I really was, I looked the books up and down, and realized, with a horrible dread, that the books where not alphabetically sorted. Or sorted in any way. Great.
I decided to see if my 'elven instincts' that Legolas had called them, would lead me to my past. I blocked out everything, and tried to think as to where I would find it.
Think brain, think.
I scrunched up my eyes, and tried to make myself see the book, but alas I couldn't't.
I sighed, and opened my eyes, and realized that I was facing a different direction. I was facing a large bookshelf, that had many books on it, but, for a fraction of a second, a green book with golden binding shone out.
"Yes." I whispered, and walked slowly over to the book. I grazed my finger along the spine, and gentle grasped it. With a soft "Hmph" it came out from the bookshelf covered in dust. It had a lovely golden leaf on the front, with green and gold decoration.
The cover, which was dusty, read:
Amrun'quessir
"Sunlight elf" I whispered, before opening the book and reading.
Glawariel, the sunlight of our people, the greatest and most feared warrior to live among the elves, died today in an Orc raid. She was brave and stong and had incredible skills, she dies defending her infant daughter, who was only one week old.
My heart seemed to sink. This can't be my book, I have no daughter.
