EXO (엑소) is a twelve-member Chinese-South Korean boy group under SM Entertainment, formed in 2011. EXO is divided into two subgroups, EXO-K and EXO-M, performing music in Korean and Mandarin, respectively. The twelve members were introduced individually through 23 different trailers released from December 2011 to February 2012. The group made their official debut on 8 April 2012 with the song "MAMA".
