This is the true story of a group of friends, my group of friends, who were just trying to have a picnic in Central Park. For Senior Skip Day, May 18th, 2017, eight of us planned on going on a trip to New York City to have a picnic and then go to Central Park Zoo.
Eight of us got to New York.
Six of us left.
This is not fictional. This is everything that happened from my point of view. The names of the people are not the names used in the writing, they are fake names used to conceal the identity of my injured friends.
