The Valley of the End

Sasuke ignored our presence and was about to leave again, not wanting to deal with us.

"Are you going to keep running away Sasuke?!" Shouted Naruto from across the waterfall. Sasuke slowly turned his body around and faced us. Half of his face was covered in black markings while his left eye was dark yellow with a black pupil.

"It's over. Just leave me alone already."

"Why are you doing this to us, Sasuke? I don't get it, what happened to make you like this!" Screamed Naruto with sadness and anger lacing in his voice. The pain in his eyes was evident as he recalled the memories of team 7.

"It shouldn't be any of your concern. I have my own path to follow and neither you or anyone else will stop me." He mainly glared at Naruto but you saw his eyes quickly glance at you.

"Idiot, that path you'll take will cause us all nothing but suffering," you said as you walked to the edge of the statue.

"(Y/n), I'll ask you this one last time. Join me. Leave the village and that loser. The village won't help you in achieving your goals." He extended his hand out to you from the other side. On the palm of his hand, there lay a leaf. "Together we'll crush those who did us wrong." He crushed the leaf that was in the palm of his hand and let the remaining pieces scatter away in the wind.

"LIKE HELL SHE'LL GO WITH YOU TEME!" Naruto tightly hugged your waist pulling you a few steps back. It irritated Naruto that Sasuke gave no sort of concern for his friends or the village, except for you.

"Our friends...they all risked their lives to come and save you. (Y/n) and I are going this far to stop you."

Sasuke scoffed at his words but stood waiting for your response.

"Well isn't that nice of you all," he responded sarcastically.

Realeasing Naruto's arms from your waist, you leaped on over to where Sasuke was.

"W-wait, (Y/n)!" Naruto extended to his hand out to grab you but he only felt the cold air in his fingertips. Landing in front of Sasuke you had a inexpressive look on your face while you began to reach out to grab his hand.

Naruto had jumped across as well and stood a few feet away from you with a perplexed expression. As your fingertips were about to graze his, you grabbed the collar of his shirt and tackled him on the ground.

Hovering above his body you punched him across the face, leaving a scratch-like mark on his cheek. A bit of blood trickled down his lips and tiny droplets were splattered on the ground.

"Stop trying to go into the hands of Orochimaru. Don't you see...everything we're doing...our sacrifices...it's because of you. Snap out of it and wake up already before it's too late!" He turned his head back to face you and had a smirk on his lips.

"It's already too late." He grabbed the collar of your shirt and pulled you down, crashing his lips onto yours.

Your eyes had widened at the sudden action he committed. It was forceful yet affectionate at the same time. You felt the taste of blood mix in with the kiss. Pulling away from him, you staggered away from him and wiped away the taste of his blood. Naruto stared at the scene with his mouth agape and a heartbroken look oh his face.

Not noticing his expression, he ran past you and started to punch Sasuke multiple times out of anger from the kiss, our comrades, and his betrayal to the village. He was letting out all the anger that had bottled up inside him.

Before he could continue punching him more, Sasuke began to lift Naruto off of him and had him dangling in the air. He punched him in the gut with tremendous force sending him flying into the water.
