Two and a half years have passed since the day you left the village with Naruto and Jiraiya Sensei. It's been gruesome and exhausting, but a memorable time with them. The bond between you three had became stronger. There's no doubt about it that you two have improved.

Three people were walking down the road nearing the border to the Land of Fire. One figure was wearing a dark blue cloak shielding them from the warm beaming sun, while beside that person stood an energictic blonde.

"Ah I can't believe we're almost going to be home." He placed both his hands behind his head while staring down the path that would lead back to the village.

"You are but I'm not," you said while taking off the hood to your cloak. Over the course of two and a half years you've matured physically and mentally. You still had some childish fun moments in you, but there's times when people need to start growing up.

You had gotten a bit taller but you were still a bit shorter than Naruto. You had an enticing beautiful appearance that others yearned to have. Your silky (h/l) (h/c) had grown shorter/longer and your  shimmering (e/c) eyes were as captivating as ever. Your beauty and physique resembled one that a goddess would have. Men from other villages had stolen glances at you and were instantly captivated by you. Your growth had definitely caught Naruto's attention, but he didn't let those feelings interfere with friendship you two shared. It'd definitely would be a sight to see for the boys back at the village.

"Well this is where we'll part ways for now. I'll see you in a week."

"Ah wait (Y/n)! Here!" He rummaged through his backpack and handed you dangos and some Ramen.

Typical of him to carry around ramen. "Thanks, I'll be off now."

"Be safe." They waved goodbye to you as you headed in a different direction. The walk to the outskirts of The Land of Fire had taken you about three hours to get there. You started remembering the same road you had taken long ago when you saved yourself from this place.

You saw the crumbled remains of the clan you once loved. Ashes remained scattered on the floor with rubbles from the destroyed homes. You looked left and right at the damage that was done. There were a few traces of dried blood that had remained on the ground. It was evidence of the tragedy that had occurred long ago.

Looking straight ahead there was a familiar nostalgic sight that you couldn't forget. The place where you once called home. Stepping inside there was nothing but darkness and a feeling of abandonment. Walking up the creaking steps, you saw the hinges to your door were broken.

Your old room looked as if a hurricane had come crashing in here. On the floor you noticed a picture frame with shattered pieces of glass. You knelt down on both knees and picked up the frame. A solemn look appeared on your face as you saw a family photo. Your four year old self was grinning ear to ear between your smiling mother and stoic father.

Your heart clenched in sorrow at the sight. No one was left. You were all alone now. You removed the picture from the frame and placed the family photo inside your pocket. You silently looked around the house looking for any valuable information or items that could be useful.

While looking through every room, you had started searching through your deceased parent's room. While searching through every cabinet, something had fallen right in front of you. You saw an old, beautiful golden antique chest with a cherry blossom flower carved on it.

There wasn't a lock on it that required any sort of key but when you tried opening it, it wouldn't budge open. Hmm weird. Maybe it's jammed or maybe a sealing jutsu? Whatever I'll worry about this later.
