(Y/N) writhed in her sleep as images flashed in her mind. A little boy growing up with no attention, a little boy being bullied in school, a little boy recieving no love, a little boy neglected by his parents. Tears streamed down (Y/N)s face as she whimpered in her sleep. A cool hand was layed on her forehead as the girl gasped and woke with a start.
"Hey..." A voice whispered in the dark of her room. "It's just a dream."
"Jasper?" (Y/N) mumbled out as her tears were wiped from her cheeks. A small hum of confirmation followed. Waves of calm washed over her and the girl felt at ease immediately.
A light flickered on in the dark and (Y/N) had to narrow her eyes a bit before they adjusted properly. (Y/N) stared up into her partners eyes as he sat next to her, staring down at her in the bed. It was still dark outside so it was probably still late at night. The girl breathed out a shaky breath as she collected herself.
"Do you want to talk about it?" Jasper questioned as he layed down next to her, the two being on eye level now.
(Y/N) nodded. "It's just... I'm scared Jasper." She admitted as she stared into the eyes of the vampire next to her. "What if... what if I'm not gonna be a good mother? What if I'm gonna fail and do something wrong? I don't know how to be a mom."
"Is that what's bothering you?" Jasper asked, his lips curling slightly into an amused grin. (Y/N) scowled at him and the grin disappeared again. "I'm sorry, I shouldn't make fun of it. But I really don't get how you could think that way. I've heard the way you whisper to the little one every night before bed and say good morning to him in the morning as well. You already care deeply for him, I can tell." (Y/N) blushed a bit, realizing he knew. "Don't be embarrased. It's cute."
"Oh shush." (Y/N) muttered as she burried her head in her pillows. "I don't think I'd be a very responsible mom."
"That's something you can learn." Jasper assured as he pulled (Y/N) closer to him, his one arm around her and the other resting on her tummy. "Besides, you won't have to do it all alone. I'm here, right?"
(Y/N) smiled with a nod. "Yeah." The two really did help each other out. They really perfected each other in ways no one else could understand. There was silence for a good while as they just looked into each others eyes. A frown appeared on (Y/N)s face and Jasper raised an eyebrow at her. "I need to pee."
