I waited at Bert's locker for him after school so he could drive me home

He drove me home, reminding me that I promised to come to his later, he said he'd pick me up at 6 which gave me a few hours to make myself pretty for him

I changed into a short black skater skirt, black knee high socks with a black shirt and jacket, wow maybe I am emo

I brushed my hair then played with it with my hands to give it a messier look

I put on my foundation, some eyeliner and lip balm because I didn't wanna do heavy makeup right now.

I didn't know I had taken long but apparently I had because when I checked my phone it was 5:49. I decided to wait upstairs for Bert's car so that when he comes I don't keep him waiting

When I got upstairs I heard voices from the living room, it was probably Mikey and his friends so I decided to wait in there

"Hey mikes, I'm going over to Bert's house so don't wait up I have a key" I said walking into the living room

My eye caught frank who was sitting on the love seat looking back at me sadly

"I don't think that's a good idea Gerard" Mikey said

"Why? I go over there all the time, why's it any different now?" I asked

"Because now I know he's hurting you" Mikey replied softly

"I'm sorry Gerard, I had to do something" frank said

"No you fucking didn't have to say anything, this has nothing to do with you so I don't see why you had to get involved, you're just adding irrelevant stress onto Mikey, he loves me and he won't hurt me any more!" I shouted

"Gerard please, frank is just trying to help, I wanna help too but I can't do that if you won't let me"

I heard a beep from outside then and I thanked whatever god there may be that I could get out of this situation

"Look I don't wanna keep Bert waiting so I'm away" I said not waiting for a reply before leaving and slamming the door behind me

"Hey babe, what's wrong?" Bert asked as I got in the car

"Just Mikey giving me shit about taking one of his comics, nothing important" I lied kissing his cheek. "I can't wait to spend tonight with you, just us, we haven't had that in a long time"

"Yeah about that, I invited Nate, Jackson and Owen over so it's not just us" Bert replied

"Oh, okay"

When I got to Bert's everyone was already there and by the looks of it they were all drunk

"Ohh look the slut's here" Owen called

"Time to have some fun, what do you say Bert?" Nate said

Bert just laughed in response and locked the door

"Why'd you lock it?" I asked

"Oh, there's this new crazy guy a few floors up and I just don't like leaving it unlocked in case" Bert replied

"Oh, okay"

I sat down on the three seater beside Bert who was at the edge

Jackson sat beside me then ate and Owen sat on the two seater
